Dear Dr Bolin, Thank you very much for the classes. They are amazing and incredibly helpful! Is it possible for us to have access to the slides as well please? I learn so much better when I scribble all over the notes. Thank you very much!

If ovarian cancer is most commonly diagnosed in stage 3C, then why aren’t we erring on the side of caution and giving young women CA 125 tests? And why are we waiting 6 weeks for a repeat ultrasound? Sound like playing with fire

Not reliable enough due to false positives from benign conditions and due to clear cell carcinomas, that don't always elevate.

Important question! Is a transvaginal ultrasound needed? Can we just do a regular pelvic ultrasound? Should the pelvic ultrasound show if the mass is solid or liquid?
@moseschrute Жыл бұрын
I had a complex ovarian cyst removed and the clearest images and blood flow Doppler were only seen with transvaginal ultrasound. Abdominal u/s was always done first but my ovaries are harder to find so transvaginal gave the best images
