Edge seems very interesting in 3v3. I have 0 experience with that class because all people gear up Tech instead of Edge. But with that high mobility, can close the gap with the target, etc... can easy save genie that is the most important thing in 3v3. Well done Joe!

Thank you roar!! But I personally also think Tec is stronger here since tecs can basically spam aoes forever and have insane mobility and basically complete CC immunity. Due to the insane speed of their attacks they can alsp easils bypass people. Edge is strong and can survive alot..but at a certain point all my stuff will be in CD and then the class is basically useless. Thats the downside of being melee, not unlike a barb cause you first need to reach your target to do anything. People still need to figure out how edge works tho 😁

Comments so far on the new arena: 1-The balance on which class is better then other is way different then before, sin are legit struggling in there for one lol. 2- The new people trying arena with this setup have no clue how to deal with the usual 3v1 focus needed to win fights, and they not handling the genie handicap well (People wasting genie energy on holy path for one) 3- Veno are even more important in this then before, because theres even less purge capacity then after the purge wep nerf. And anyone whos purged will legit melt in the gears the new arena gives. Only complaints i have is seeker weird setup, im guessing its to make seeker less unkillable, but atk lvl armor and def wep is so weird and a disarm kinda screw you hard. Would have been better to be def lvl armor and atk wep but guess not. Also, gimme back my tidal proc, i dont like untarget (even though it saved me from a redstone somehow) Final thing, glyphs, passives, boundary lvl and possibly the new conduit still apply in the 3v3, so might see some stats/damage difference from that (for example the rare people with lvl 10 glyphs havign mroe atk/def lvl then others)

These people that isnt used to 3v1 focus in arena are prob people that used to outgear everyonee and just one shotted everyone, with the changes most of these people will drop in arena ranking and the people that used to be outgeared will prob rise. I just think people should be able to choose weapon and armor/weapon/acessories stones/gems. For example if i wanted to play an agressive EP i cant with the new arena.

Edge veno cleric will be most broken toons in arena cause those 3 toons have most skills make them live longer but for me it become is zerk crit and spam skill as u see in his video he caught ppl with zero def both teams basically spaming skills xd

Yes, Ebri! 1. It is much better than before in terms of balancing, people just need to figure it out first and get away from the "this class is OP" or "this class is too weak". Some classes are forced into a specific role now but its not like they cannot deal any damage at all. With debuffs and teamwork any class can nuke and I have to give you props personally Ebri, I have not expected anyone to have figured out the weaknesses of the edgerunner class to an extent as you did. That freeze on me before I died absolutely broke my back there :D That's one of the reasons Edgerunner imho is not as strong as even a sin is (at least in our comp) because once halo and Shattering scream are gone and people realize this...edge becomes fodderized pretty quickly. 2. Yeah but they will hopefully adapt. I can't wait to meet some now people that can rise to the occassion and kick me in the butt! I hope for really nice compeition and people will learn eventually! 3. Yes, I agree, Purge is insanely powerful, especially with classes that can debuff and seeing the blatant weakness of casters in this meta (being only having 30k pdef purged). However, veno is...well its an insanely powerful class but believe me when I say this (and I will ofc try that myself as well) a full DD squad, especially with good synergy, like Wizard, Edgerunner and Technician can absolutely evaporate basically anything even without purge, since they all benefit from the same element and debuffs. I think that comp is the most powerful in this meta anyways. They are all sneaky, have a bit of CC and wizards are truly a danger now, AOE knockback and protection on sutra and the damage output...dayum. Not what people would usually expect but it works. As for seeker...you kinda can see it this way..being devil and having a def weap still gives you better def lvl and attack level compared to being r9 weap with full serenity BUT you have the technical option to disarm the seeker to be able to deal full damage. I would have never imagined that the DEVs would be capable of actually thinking of that but alot of the preset gear choices positively surprised me. Anyone having the same proc is fine for me as well, makes it less RNG and more predictable as what to do as a team because ticking that is rather easy. Glyphs, passives, titles, meridian and nuemas are your own in the arena, anything else, incl boundary and the new conduit are also equalized or rather not existent, in case of the latter as it is a part of your gear after all. Also, idm lv10 glyph people because the difference that will make is still not sooo big that it might interfere severely with the outcome of the fight...welp, as long as it is not a god tier tec with lv10 glyphs...that could be pretty bad :D

Cosmos is gear so it is not counted and yes, glyphs do matter but I dont mind because a few levels and glyph effects are nothing compared to having to face off against 3x np glowing cards + double g17.5 :D

It is the BEST thing that has happened in PWI EVER. I can't explain how happy we are, now we can truly compete and show what we are capable of in the arena without having these "gear" shenanigans. Everyone gets a chance to go at it, even the ones that have really low gear. Thanks! n__n

All those insanely overgeared people obviously complain now that they cannot have a massive advantage anymore. Instead of QQing I do hope tho that they will try to work on their skills more than their credit card! As for the overall experience, no class is bad in there, some classes are just forced into support, which is fine tho, because they really do excell at it. I can't wait to do more fights and to especially try all my classes because I do not have to worry about gear anymore

Seeker is still very powerful and barb is more or less support now, since they nerfed the damage boost to Violent Triumph in PvP, sadly. Barbs can still kill but shine more in a team now to absorb damage and tank and CC a little.

Sin is still powerful af and would work better in our squad compared to Edge. Edge has too many weaknesses. Once Shattering scream and halo are on CD I am a melee fodder character that cant even reach anyone to be able to attack, unlike sin, also lacks alot of CC. I could finish off many many more people whenever I want on sin due to the ports and mobility and CC protection. I will go with edge for a while still to figure anything out and then try around with all my classes but I will start with sin. Am still demon tho cause I went full yolo mode but it's not so bad, even tho it is quite a bit weaker in teamplay :(

@@theonebeing4549 Oh trust me, good tecs and Wizards are much more powerful than Edges now :D and yes, more than sins as well, that is true but it is still not unwinable, esp with good teamwork. A CJ on a target off genie with SS debuff or just purge might already be enough to kill someone, AA 100%, LA maybe and HA are a bit tougher, since all of them got def weap except for Edge.

@Trancendent Resurrextion Abuse vs something so predictable...aye xD Weird that, in all those fights we had vs other venos none of us ever died to 0d. How odd. Besides, a purged AA dies Oneshot to a trip sparked halo with my own pdef buff and mire anyways, so there isnt even a need for 0d, maybe to get rid of someone in a sneaky way but thats it. I will be on sin eventually, but unlike others I do work alot and I have shifting work schedules and work 24/7 as well, so its not like I can just go 4x a week and play all my classes. I will play sin but its gonna take time. I could queue from work on some days but I dont feel like compromising my ping even more. It's bad enough ruby still has 600+ ping, we don't need both of us with that disadvantage and people will already go bonkers in the comments even if they could clearly see lag, sticky skills etc so I rather not take the chance and wait for the optimal setup, naturally. I will play all classes eventually, except for Psy, they can smd, garbage class.

Nice video!!!!! Nice to find someone playing Edge tho. There are only a few Edge in my server since everyone thinks Edge is a little useless in large PvPs. In my server, Edge doesn't have skill for 5% crit and 100% accuracy yet? Can't wait for that to go for physical Darkverse in large PvPs because it's annoying to switch between elemental Darkverse and physical Darkverse in mass pvp. After I watched your video, I believe with a good gear, Shield with Halo even with a Physical Darkverse can kill anyone full buff, including BM, Barb or Seeker. What do you think?

Thank you! Halo isnt that powerful when it comes to classes with cap pdef (80k+) since it purely scales of enemies defense and your own base damage and attack levels but ofc the stronger you are, the more damage you will deal. On LA and AA tho..halo deals ALOT of damage..hence why I usually try to combine halo with the ultimate horse skill or just spamming AOEs with immunity on and Shattering Scream when using Halo. Thus I prefer to use elemental darkverse so that I can deal some nice damage to HA as well and maybe get some CC off like with the earth or water darkverse. Only in 3v3 I would use phyaical darkverse perma because of the 100% accu buff. There you have a good chabce of actually hitting AAs and such but the chance to miss on anything else is still high, so switching here and there is a must.

With physical darkverse, 1. We can easily deal a lot of damage to caster classes: wizard, venomancer, cleric, psychic, mystic, storbringer 2. With a reasonable a mount of accuracy (~7k+), technician, archer, assassin và duskblade will not be a big problem And these 10 classes are much easier to kill compared to the remaining 4 (BM, Seeker, Barb, Edge), which are hard to kill with either physical or elemental darkverse. With elemental darkverse, yes, you can deal damage with worrying about missing, but I think it's not effective as physical darkverse since now you deal very little damage to caster classes, which are the damage dealers in mass pvp. @@hoathinhxuathuyetminh5230 My Luck is really bad, so imho a halfway decent safe hit is still better than the chance to miss and I have missed even on AA alot. Main DD on AA is Halo in Mass-PvP anyways and as far as our server is concerned, there are much more LA/HA than AA classes on the battlefield, sadly, hence why I always stick to magic. When we do 3v3 and there is a 2 out of 3 AA squad or a full AA squad then ofc I use the physical only, at least until the casters are dead. It also depends on gear a little and which class you are fighting. Veno, Mystic, Wizard and Cleric could easily get above or close to their mdef in pdef, all the while all of them sporting Expel on their genies, making the use of an elemental darkverse absolutely preferable. Either Fire if you roll with a dex genie or, my preference, Earth, because only wizards have an earth immunity genie skill, aka if someone only has AD and Expel, they cannot protect themself from the damage for long. Stuff like that.

Tell me about it, its the same people whose egos take a hit when their opponents don't say "gf" after they (the out-gearing squad) stomp their opponents, with their massive gear advantages. We're just getting started, can't wait for the next sessions! The funny thing is we are getting reports from our sources that some are even bitching about us "coming back to the arena" on their discord channels, people we don't even know or talk to....I mean why the hell wouldn't we? but oh well, can't do much about these little haters. Lets see what happens in the next sessions. :D

@@unfluxer They are all basically focused on their main damage stat ya but venos, clerics and mystics have partly def shards and a def weapon and BMs, Barbs and Seeker have attack shards but a def lvl weapon. so all still pretty tanky. And ya, lv10 glyphs would outgear a bit but at the gear level that the free gear is at...it doesnt make that much of a difference.

not tankier than a barb cause the skills dont last as long and have a longer CD and the damage can be shortly a bit higher than a sin but they lack CC. Edgerunner is the most overrated class ever. We have fought many other squads with Edgerunners in them and never have any of them ever been any problem at all.

Nah, I prefer it like this ofc. It is a relieve finally being able to fight on even ground and my suspicions were kinda right...most of the overgeared squads were borderline boring to fight because those people never had to really struggle or put in effort to win and hence they lost rather easily. People are also still confused and inexperienced when it comes to certain classes being OP and weak, absolutely ignoring some blatant weaknesses, like Edges being completely useless once shattering scream is in CD. Imho the only extremely OP class in there atm is the Technician is played right...range, AOE damage for days and borderline impossible to CC. Tho just like edge they lack CC for themselves but with a squad built around it, anything can work and that is the key. It's a different meta. Squads that were OP before..like BM, dusk and sin are completely garbage now, because they are all far too squishy (sin and db that is). Its absolutely amazing
