Kinda sucks that the water pistol has one severe bug that when the white lines of detections appear when someone is suspicious of you and you fire the water pistol you will get instantly spotted regardless of anything, good video!

i think it's more of an oversight than a bug. enemies always spot you if you fire any weapon while under suspicion, including the water pistol

Not really a bug, if you do anything which leaves a trail to snake, throw anything, shoot any projectile. While guards are suspicious they will spot you.

It's going to be in the same style as V so I don't see why they couldn't reuse some assets. It could even be something minor like some XOF patches appearing in areas you've cleared but returned to.

Isn't the whole point that XOF was supposed to never be seen or heard, and only came in after Snake's mission was over to basically clean up.

@@John.McMillan Well they weren't even invented when MGS3 originally released so the concept of XOF wasn't a thing, but now it is a thing it would be funny to see it. If you kill an enemy in MGS3 and leave the area then their bodies are gone, same goes for any shell casings you left behind, obviously this is just a limitation of the time, but to explain it away as XOF cleaning your trace would be a fun little nod to MGSV. It's obviously not gonna happen (and probably shouldn't)

Mission 8 you can Hide in some in bushes near the house by the left most helicopter extraction zone and when the tanks come neer you jump out and extract them do not use wormhole it will end badly your welcome 😁

Quiet is extremely useful! I don't tend to play with her very often because I enjoy sneaking around with my little D-Doge, but every time I do select her I remember just how powerful she is. Her being able to shoot grenades that you throw and keep you from being spotted with her instant shots is superb!

I haven't tried and don't suppose it works since it's such a big story arc, would kicking every kikongo speaker off the base have the quarantine bay empty for the mission?

Sadly the actual staff don't occupy the base in that way, they're pretty much just a stat rather than a real person in game. The game has a few of your real staff wandering the base platforms but it's only like 12 out of 500+. You also get a game over if you throw a staff member off Mother Base due to "friendly fire". Good idea though! That could have been an interesting workaround to prevent the infection. Although the infection mutates at that point in the story so it's no longer just Kikongo speakers who are affected. It's one of those mandatory things that you're forced to go through so Huey can be exiled and so you can get the diamond embedded in your shoulder patch.

While you are prone if you press the cqc button snake will hit their legs and they will fall, its easier then diving into them

I did that for a few missions, but the noise of them slamming their head into the floor often makes a lot of noise and the range is very short so it's quicker to just dive and squirt 💦

14:30 If you want to do it without getting shot at/detected, just use a car and throw a smoke grenade into the seat, depending on the level of the grenade you'll make it the entire way before it runs out.

I've never seen Sahelanthropus not attack the chopper before in any of the gameplay I've watched or done, even when they get disabled by the electrical wires or you escape from further down the path. It's the intro for the Metal Gear so it appears to be a mandatory cutscene. If you could try to recreate the steps and replicate it one day I'd be very excited to see it in action!

That's true, but you can't even start the game without shooting the Man on Fire in the Prologue or fultoning someone in the mother base tutorial so any weapon restrictive challenge will hit that block before it even begins. My personal rules didn't specify I couldn't fulton or mark with binoculars since they're core elements anyway. You're welcome to try the challenge yourself with those extra stipulations if you want to! 😛
