Also if your using an xbox one x and it’s not working , use an original Xbox one controller with the micro usb charging slot not the usb C version. The usb C version isn’t compatible Therefore, if your controller uses USB-C to charge it will not work.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas. Kept trying to get it to power up that XBOX ONE controller but nothing. Finally I thought I'd try one of our older XBOX controller and used a USB to USB Micro adapter. Thing connected right up at that point. I dunno why it would not boot up the new XBOX controllers with the USB C cable that came with the steering wheel.

I’ve gotten this far: If you connect and the red light turns on then turns off almost immediately, remember that you need to have a cable connected from the back of the Wheek assembly, to your controller. But make sure you turn off the Xbox controller before doing so, it should vibrate as if it’s being charged. Turn on the controller, then hold the MODE button, it should then stay on. Press the MODE button again, and the XBOX Home Screen should pop up like you see in the video. Where Im at now: I got this to play on forza. I got the steering to set up, it comes up as the analogs. D pad and buttons work, paddle shifters as well. You have to change the Shifting mode to Manual w/ Clutch, in the Difficulty settings. BUT - I can’t get any of the pedals to work. Any help?

Yes I had same problem you have to map the pedals and if that doesn’t work unplug the controller from wheel plug into Xbox play with controller for 2 to 3 seconds then plug it into the steering wheel

All I know is the v9 tools app let's you customize it limitedly unless connected to pc then you get a fully range customization

I just got this steering wheel setup with shifter. AFTER doing the setup a bunch of times, I realized that I was doing the setup with an aftermarket xbox controller. Once i set up the ORIGINAL XBOX controller- it WORKED. Before that, I did the whole setup and it never worked on xbox menu or in a game like forza. SO IN SHORT, if your having trouble with the setup on an xbox use an Original controller and possibly a diffrent usb-to-controller.

pedal acceleration is working, but the break pedal is not working.... The high/low button is not working for the car with more than 6 gears. I just follow all the guide. Sometimes the steering lost connection with the xbox one....
