@@SamsRussianAdventures I looked at your channel and my first impression was that it is geared for men looking for Russian women, which is totally fine but as a result of showing them as all being supermodels that go crazy over foreign men no matter what he looks or acts like is just unrealistic. Did you know that western women are very interested in Russian men? You might broaden your base to include females if you talked to Russian men about their views on dating or what they are interested in. Maybe highlight some young good looking ones because here in the west they are often portrayed is bear like angry old man. Western women love Russian accents too. Just my opinion if you want to attract some extra females to your channel!

Most of the people I chat to who watch Eli for example, say openly that they watch her content because she is a beautiful woman. The majority of my 200+ videos cover a range of topics. It’s interesting about Russian men, I didn’t realise that they were attractive to western women! What questions would you like me to ask? I’ll make a video on this topic. Thanks for your feedback.

Would they date one or any other nationality? Is the common view of them accurate? Are there similar matchmaking sites for Russian men? Are they romantic? You might be interested that we have a Mikhail Lermontov monument down here in New Zealand. It is a failure too. It was a Soviet Cruise ship. It was an elegant ship, a pretty ship. A documentary said it had a culture of its own and was loved by passengers and crew. In 1986 the ship had just ended a call at Picton in New Zealand's Marlborough sounds, when the Pilot mysteriously directed the ship through a confined gap with seriously strong tidal turbulance and daggers of sub surface rocks. We never found out why he did that, but the Lermontov was terminally gashed below the waterline. Immediately at least one crew was drowned. The ship was doomed. Listing and sinking, it drifted around into the nearest bay where it was evacuated and sank. It remains at the bottom of that bay in the Cook Strait area, as a diving attraction. I was in favour of the Pilot going to the USSR to explain himself - of course that did not happen. The Lermontov's poor Captain was punished according to the documentary - I think he ended up driving a cargo ship.

As a retired person. I find smaller slower paced cities more to my liking. Pyatigorsk seems like a city I would want to spend some time just to relax. Maybe play chess with some of the locals.

I have family in Pyatigorsk so I’ve visite before, and I just wanted to thank you so much for making this video! Seeing the city again after so long brought back so many memories, and felt so familiar to me. Thank you!

What a lovely city! The flowers are gorgeous & I'll have to check out the ice cream ♥-♥ It's interesting these markets push you out when you film - "There's nothing." Failed lake seems pleasant hahaha; I like that you renamed Lermontov's grotto to match. 18:30 Looks like Virginia Creeper, related to blue berries. ¡¡Excellent slice of life in Пятиго́рск, 💪Tough-gurl!!💪 Love the strip of blue, very cute :] Hope you made time to dance💃

It's always the case when you film in these types of places. They are suspicious and afraid that maybe they will do something wrong and be in trouble. It would be amazing to know your opinion. I'm likewise a big follower of this channel and I additionally make videos about life in Russia. unluckily the youtube algorithm has actually not been as great to me yet. Almost everybody that watch my material says that it is top notch, but not many get to see it. Can you be completely sincere and tell me exactly how I can improve my content? I value your straightforward viewpoint.

Your production quality is as great as your command of English. Your videos are a joy to watch. I love your sense of humor and judging from your other videos, I'd say you're still a 'tough girl'

As anywhere in the world unfortunately there’re rude people. I’m very sorry for your market filming experience! You even told her that you’re just a vlogger. I think the gentleman in the next shop wasn’t welcoming either and so you decided to exit the market.Guess the vendors there are just old Soviet folks, suspicious of cameras of any sorts. But keep your chin up, you make excellent videos!

Ah that might explain it, they've been burnt by the police state before so I can't blame them

@@MaryJones-fs4wf vlogging isn’t commercial movie making that one has to choose location, take permission etc. it’s spontaneous.Vloggers aren’t intrusive but they’re not shy either. How do you know “old Soviet, folks” isn’t true? Are you from there? Your name doesn’t suggest so.

@ Mary Jones, precisely. Well said, too bad that some people can’t understand that this type of behavior is intrusive. Thanks for pointing that out.

Eli, You’re doing more for your country showing that every day Russians are peaceful and only want to live their lives in peace. It’s the Politicians who are the assholes!😡 (both sides). You’re Mt Elbrus video rocked! Orlando, Florida USA🇺🇸🏝😎 I look forward to learning more about Russia!

Very interresting! Both the scenery and the soviet ambiance, plus the French words like buvette (place where one buy drinks) adopted in Russian. Before the Revolition, Russsian nobility and upper middle class followed trends of French culture.

Eli, you make the best videos !! You should do like another KZbinr..." Bald and Bankrupt" ...when local people say " you can not record videos here" , he replies.." is this the Soviet Union ? Are you KGB ? " Mind your own business ! " I think it's sad they are like this but I understand why . I'm looking forward to the next video !!

It looks like Lermontov's bathroom rather than a grotto. 😄 Every country has weird places like that.

Hello Elie, thank you for this video which reminds me of my visits to Piatygorsk in 1996 and 97 and the ascent of Elbruz. The city is very much beautified it seems. Well done for your images, comments and discovery. 💙

Cape Town in South Africa has one of the worlds most famous Cable Car rides to the top of Table Mountain... you should come ride it of you liked the Pyatigorsk version.
