@boethjelle87692 жыл бұрын
@@thomasgriffin2326 Stanley Kubrick directed another really famous film that would have been out a long time by the time they were making "Full Metal Jacket" called "Spartacus." At the end of Spartacus, a lot of people who aren't Spartacus stand up and claim to be him in this epic move of solidarity to protect their fellow slave? Gladiator? I honestly haven't seen the movie I just know the reference. So basically Kubrick was accidentally recreating a scene from one of his most famous movies and a clever British extra rose to the occasion and yelled Stanley's own movie quote back at him, prompting everyone else to do the same in a perfect replica of the actual scene from the movie Spartacus. Hope that helps.

No matter what I see him in I think of Pile. That character he played was incredible. The opening scene with Lee and the cast of FMJ is one of the best opening scenes ever!

I loved Vincent in Household Saints. No one ever mentions his amazing performance or even that movie.

I wonder why......? Tracey Ullman was also amazing in Household Saints along with the entire cast, who were all along with the crew, a sincere pleasure to work with in 92'

The way D'Onofrio portrayed Pyle is just as convincing as Pitts' portrayal of Jeffery Goines in 12 Monkeys. But Pyle is far more memorable. Because we see the lunacy develop - from the initial aw-shucks innocence of a big dopey country boy to a cold-hearted killer. That change is convincing, because the acting throughout was so damn good.
