You need to play your music loudly with Pyle amps, in order to drown out their noisy cooling fans, which are identical in all of their models. If the company upgraded the crappy fan, their feature-rich products at such low prices would be a great. Those without a fan, of course, do not suffer the problem.

Thanks for the review, I have owned the Pyle PFA540BT for several years. My only issue with it is the HDMI inputs. I changed my TV last year and the one I own has an HDMI ARC output. Like many people nowadays, the dvd player bit the dust several years ago and I stream video, All 4k tvs have HDMI ARC outputs but this amp is not compatible with that output. I have written Pyle, and asked if they will be selling a new model, I also noted they no longer have the PFA540BT on their website. Shame that this fine little receiver/amp which replaced my monster Sony receiver does not have this input which every new tv comes with for great sound streaming,

Thanks. I did not notice any type of EQ adjustments or sound profile option. Can Bass and Treble be adjusted?

so noticed one issue. Once I set the 5.1 levels / front / surround / center levels using the remote, any change made to the master volume using either the remote or amp , these setting changes, makes it softer etc.

I have the unit but the Output IC blew and IC number is not written on the IC

Awesome!! Suscribed....can I use the ARC HDMI from my television to this unit, I understand it has HDMI inputs, but no standby mode for HDMI ARC, so I'm guessing turning the TV on won't turn the Unit on?

Hi GH, I bought this unit but eventhough I connected trough the HDMI ARC my tv still says “inactive “ , and no sound come on ver the ceiling speakers or the tv. I activated the Arc output in the tv but still says inactive. what am I doing wrong? My cable is high speed HDMI with Ethernet . Thanks in advance for your guidance
