Finally.....A conductor who plays this at the RIGHT tempo. So many play this way too fast and it loses all of its elegance.
@allisonbailey43075 жыл бұрын
Craig Allen I wish you were correct but yet the waltz of the flowers original tempo is much quicker this one is just perfect and the elegance is stretched out, although ballets prefer the quicker versions. This for is much better in my opinion as well because you can hear every note.

I've also heard it way too slow I agree it's so annoying but this orchestra is beautiful

All of the bows playing together is really the most beautiful thing.

Towards the end I choked up with emotion and eyes filled with tears listening to such beautiful and fulfilling music..I would have stood up clapping with excitement had I been there, but these people in the audience..they look anesthetic!

Pamela Peralta it really is a spectacular performance! If it’s any consolation, the tradition when attending classical concerts is not to applaud until the end of the act, in respect to the music as a whole - there were still a few pieces yet to come, but I’m sure the applause was raucous when the performance was over!

Thats because doing something like that in this kind of setting can be considered inappropriate.

There is only one thing better than this performance - a Ballet to this song,...Nutcracker.

I think the version with the Berliner Philharmoniker and conductor Daniel Barenboim is better.

Sounds as though I were there. Gives me shivers, the acoustics are fantastic. The tempo and rhythm are perfect, rarly heard, commonly rushed. The double bass fiddle is excellent, watermelon for the soul. (Better than the Orchestra for the Bolshoi!).

So well played and Tchaikovsky was, of course, without equal when it came to writing fabulous waltzes and the way the fiddles bounce their bows at 6:26 is so nice.
