I have a psv-300 bought for 30.00 USD at a ham auction.It was very noisy across the entire HF band. I added input and output filters was able to install inside case. Now no problem using with my Icom 7000. Is it as quiet as my linear PSU ?? No but livable for portable operation. Enjoy your channel keep up the good work.

Hello Gilles. ALINCO also makes a switching power supply with a noise offset feature. It is their model DM-30 and is available at most ham radio retailers.

Holy crapola, CA$600-700?! I just bought a linear Astron 35A with meters (RS-35M-AP) for about US$250 a couple months ago. Why are they so expensive in CA?

$250 US + Shipping (expensive cause of the weight) comes to $350 + echange rate for Canadian $ makes it now $475, add the saltes tax to pay and we are at $550 to 600
