Thanks for the tip. I definitely feel the same regarding a sensation of having to engage abs constantly with the standard seat position on my Machno. Going to give it a go with the folded shim in the back.

Nice tips! Never seen the seat shim idea. If you want that Goop, 100% silicone or whatever it is you use to be easier to work with, put some isopropyl alcohol on your finger. You can make it look real pretty and the adhesive won’t stick to your finger. Plus you’ll have a rag and alcohol there to clean up any spots you didn’t mean to get it on.

Just got a Scorch X, so about to do the outfitting. What airbags do you use? Did you put one in front of the foot brace too?

I use nylon air bags. No I don’t put one in the front.

That would have worked fine - I ended up popping the pad out of mine and put a Jackson sweet cheeks 100 in now I can adjust it for it I’m running a dry suit or just shorts pretty easy

I have used those for several boats but gets pricey and sometimes out of stock but yes another good option! Thanks for commenting!

I use automotive gasket material and seal, last longer than the boat
