Pyranha Kayaks Ripper 2 Medium-Testing on the Green River Narrows

Little late to the party, but seeing as you value similar things to me in slices river runners, what would you consider as the upper weight limit for the Ripper medium to retain the downriver sporty feel of it? Thinking about getting one and it's literally impossible to find a demo. Currently levitating 180-185lbs dry weight and I'm somewhat worried it might get into that sluggish&playful realm.

Honestly I know many people your weight in the large ripper 2. It’s still very playful at your weight but also a great river runner. Wade is one of them. Your probably definitely on the heavier end for river running for the medium.

@@DownstreamV Thanks for the swift response & info. Ripper 2 is amazingly expensive in EU right now. ~1700$ + shipping (not sold in my country), so I'll be on a look out for a demo when I get a chance.
