The main thing about the cannon you forgot about is that it has not only less rpm compared to the lazer but also less damage since it’s a explosive MG, not a cannon. It’s like 1/3 the damage of a cannon which is REALLY annoying

Prob not. There is no effect on how forward it is on the recoil. What it does effect, however, is the center of mass, which makes lots of sense seeing as it's mass is 280 kg without any ammo, which makes it much more.

So yes and no. A more inward gun actually produces more torque since more of its force vector is not in line with the center of mass. What it does do is first move the CoM back since it does dominate its weight and allows for a shorter, sleeker nose, more agile and responsive flight, all which leads to better recoil control.

i love road killing with it the most. I'm partially in the group that was disappointed about its cannons but it was so good in other areas that I forgave it. The worst thing is probably that I can't kill a player with one burst I just juggle them. Better it's fun to toss tryhards around a bit.

Funnily enough, PRG didn’t test the glitch enough. After the 1000ft limit, the speed does increase a little, but if you increase your altitude a good ways, then point yourself slightly downwards, you’ll start to speed up to a ridiculous level. To the point where you can have someone shoot an Orbital Cannon at you with the automatic targeting and it’ll shoot straight behind you, completely missing.

It does have a lot of armor, but flying this plane very often, i've come to know that you're done after one rocket in the back in most cases, simply because your rudders are gone, which is quite annoying and the armor never really feels like its useful. Other than I really like the plane, but it could really need a buff on the main, i would even be ok with it being non-explosive, as long as it has a (insanely pls) high fire rate and enough damage output for it to be useful, also against ground targets(bc of that a high fire rate especially).

The armor is very effective when fighting cannons or explosive snipers, against missiles sometimes they just completely disable you but during a dogfight if you get hit by homing missiles that’s kinda your fault

I’ma be completely honest, the b-11 is Terrible. Please stop fooling yourself. The only good thing about it is it has a lot of weapons like bombs, barrage, missiles, countermeasures, and machine gun. That’s the only good thing now on to the bads. The rate of fire on the gun is terrible, it will never compete against the lasers or hydras gun, I’m not going to use this as a air to ground aircraft because that would simply but a disadvantage on me. It’s slow, short and simple this thing is slow. You can barely avoid MK2 missiles and if someone has a explosive sniper don’t even try to escape because you won’t. If you’re dogfighting a lazer and the pilot has some experience with jets then the b-11 will get shot down in max 50 seconds. The barrage is inaccurate, sure it’s good for shooting a generation area of the map but trying to hit a player, yea good luck with that. Also don’t even try to hit another jet with the barrage, it’s like hitting a fly with a fork. The price is not equivalent to what it’s worth, this should be the “I’m very poor but I would like a jet to practice and to help me with some missions” type of jet. For what it’s worth it’s base price should be $1m, and after upgrades it should be $1.5m. Final thoughts: I can confidently say with my chest that I have never been killed on ground or in the air by a b-11, maybe by chance? No, by the fact that the jet is terrible. It’s a shame people try to over hype this plane but when you ask them to 1v1 dogfight they either bring a different jet or are super hesitant to use it because they know it’s bad. The A-10 (real life version) is amazing and one of the best jets, but in gta? No simple no

I personaly have many flight hours in the b11 and i can say it is one of the best (if not the best) plane in the game if you know how to use it right. For air to ground just use the barage (you will need to practise but if you can hit your shots it is devestating) for air to air use your mg (it doesn't have the highest firerate but the explosive bullets wil destroy the enemys controls in no time) and homing missiles just only use for a stationary vehicle or to force a plane to go in circles to shoot it down easy. For the slow speed i have found a glitch that make you go so fast that you can outrun your own missiles and it is much easyer to do. Go to max altitude (or a bit lower when you are lazy) and dive straight down, then you want to slowly lvl your plane horizontaly wile spamming a and d (the rudder) this way you can keep the dive speed but go forward in this speed. But notice that with this glich you cant fly lower than mazebank tower!

What I donht understand is how people think this thing needs any buff without considering any negatives added to it. This plane is already op af, look at the rogue next to it, it's the same explosive mg except that on the b11 they are centered which is far superior, and the rogue has shitty handling and take off while the b11 outmanuvers everything but the pyro and starling. But then on top of all this it has extreme armor, and on top it has barrage missiles. Sure, it's definitely not the real life thing, but does it really need any more buffs? Do we want this thing to have the hydra cannons and not play in any public sessions anymore once these op shits ruin it? What do jets like the molotok have to offer in comparison to this already, and why does the b11need a buff? If anything, the other jets need a debuff

In my opinion, the B11 should be the only plane in the game with explosive cannons, and they should be very good. Then to prevent people from just spamming the explosive cannons in dogfights, it could have some sort of mechanism where shooting at a certain angle or at other airborne planes something it would just be a normal gun - so it wouldnt be overpowered in dogfights.

Or they could balance the canon to be how it is in real life, where it has a crazy rate of fire ( irl it is roughly 3000-6000 rpm), but, if you try to shoot it for more than like a second and a half at any angle other than straight down, it just stalls the hell out of the engines and turns you into a sitting duck. I think this would make it an interesting choice in pvp as any competent pilot would just stay above you, meaning you would have to be extremely accurate with the cannon or risk what would essentially be a death sentence, while also making it amazing in pve by having it just overwhelm everything with a hail of bullets.

Great job on that. _Everything else_ though, is an insult to the warthog's cannon. The fire rate is horrible, the real life one brrrrts for a split second and a whole area is letters littered with holes, no matter what was in that area. The in game version you can shoot for a full minute and it'll do mediocre damage _if_ you can even get a hit because the fire rate on three cannon is on par with the assault rifle Mk1. Yes the damage is explosive but the Hydra is arguably better at ground attacking because it has a high rate of fire on the cannon where there's a are worst a _low_ possibility of a gap between bullets. If you fly the B-11 and use the cannon you can see the gap between the rounds if you pull up mid burst. It's depressing.

The thing I love most as a bombing enthusiast, is the armor. It takes millions of shots, and the biggest plus is: The Damage is taken on the side it is made, so if only the left side takes hits, only the left engine dies. I managed to fly from the desert to my LSIA Hangar on one engine, multiple times.

the damage against anything with even a bit of armor is painful irl this has literally two types of ammo: armor piercing incindiary and high explosive incindiary so you either get pierced and then set on fire or you explode and then get set on fire in gta you just shrug it off like a bb gun

Ok few errors were made from what you were saying about the real warthog. The real warthog is actually a surprisingly good dogfighter, and can represent a real challenge to modern jet fighters, because it operates very close to the ground, and is incredibly tight turning. This makes it very hard to engage with missiles because the plane is often flying just above the tree tops, making it hard to see and difficult to lock on to. It is also known for the warthog stomp, where it can rapidly flip around and engage close aircraft with its 30mm GAU-8 which can pretty much destroy any fighter with one single hit. Plus it is not unusual for the pilot to carry a couple of aim-9's on top of it. This does not mean in the real world it would make a good fighter. Just that it is extremely dangerous to get into a fight with in its element, as been shown by several different training engagements.

I mean the B11 has a hard time in low altitude dogfights, since it almost can’t doge missiler. Then you need to be quite experienced to beat a pyro or starling. I’d say with two equally skilled pilots the lazer and B11 would probably be on somewhat of the same level with the B11 being on the top anyway. NOTE: this is from my experience as a starling main.

I absolutely love the B-11, it's my go-to for air-to-ground or air-to-air combat, especially because in any situation, you can at least theoretically make sure you yourself don't get shot down, but I have one major issue with it: The tail control surfaces break from a single explosive sniper hit. Granted, the shot will have to hit the tail for this, but if, say, you're coming out of a bombing run it's pretty hard for them to hit anything but the tail, given that you're flying away from them. Once the tail is broken, you have to bail out, and your flight is over. Now, it isn't that difficult to fight someone who has an explosive sniper with the B-11, only coming straight from above, firing down a barrage of missiles and turning around before they can aim at you. It's not easy to get a hit, but it's impossible to get hit. However, you can't switch to this anymore after they pulled out the explosive sniper because your tail will already be gone. So, you either have to take the risk of being taken down more or less out of the blue or you have to assume the person has and will use an explosive sniper from the get-go, removing the choice of other attack methods such as gunning or bombing. Fun fact: One of the main reasons why the real A-10 has a double tail is to make sure that the plane remains controllable if one half of it gets damaged, this would have been perfect for the B-11, too, because it's essentially an Achilles heel.

As a die-hard A-10 Warthog fan, I can say that the B11 isn't actually that disappointing. As the cannon is very effective against armoured vehicles (at least for me), I find it to be balanced in terms of GTA Online. Yeah sure, it deserves a better cannon but it's pretty much the one balanced vehicle that can still be effective against tryhards and griefers.

it's a good plane if you don't want to spend too much money on the laser as well as being 500k more than the hydra it is definitely worth it and it also has the capabilities of large-scale bomber while giving you more mechanics

sure u cant compare it to a a-10 BUT its implemented as a balanced and good jet. Its good for dogfighting and against ground targets and bad against mk2s so it has its use but isnt overused, I like it this way.

If your about realism equip the white smoke countermeasure and whenever you fire the gun, turn it on and then off when you stop firing. Like the real thing. It had the white trail behind it while firing. If your more about practically and dogfighting not ground targets, chaff or flare is best instead.

Pro B11 Speed tip Another glitch 8 found out is if u fly completely upwards then suddenly straight after u reached higher than maze bank or B11 will have a speed aswell I've gotten the speed to go around the Speed circle thing twice

Actually air force made tests irl to see if the a10 can dogfight and it actually can "turk on its own ass" due to its maneuvarability, and its gun is very accurate and high damage for dogfights. That said, since vietnam air combat is almost exclusively missiles. But it being a good dogfighter is not out of left field.

I just use the bomb from the b11. Due to the low flying speed, it is easy to dive bomb. Thighmangler did an excellent video on how to do it

You can put bombs on basically only plane you would want to, you can get better with bombs and hit people with ease. But if you buy bombs buy regular explosive, cluster bombs are overpriced for the same thing

I effortlessly wrecked a moving Rhino using my 1st B11, 2 years ago. Did it with luck, though. The Rhino is softer than it used to be, but it wasn't even easy for me shooting the stationary vehicles by the Sandy Shores airfield.
