Hi Richy, this is gorgeous! You continue to create artwork that I so want to do! I loved your jelly fish and the squid is on my list too. The texture you created on the squid was fantastic. I love the hint of seabed to frame the squid. Looks wonderful!

Hi Brenda. Thank you so much. This one was challenging. Had to think about the "layer sequence" to get the right texture and had to lighten the background a little bit at the end but I'm also happy with the result. If I had seen your latest video before I sealed this work I would've probably added some blue Pearl EX to the squid.

That would look beautiful. I will mention that you still can add the Pearl Ex. I seal my artwork with a spray on matte or satin polycrylic finish and then apply the PE (pearl ex). The PE needs to be mixed with a glossy varnish otherwise it loses it metallic sheen. I won't mention how I discovered this. :)

Hello. Thank you very much. I use a Optima 1 single burner. You can order it from their website here: www.carvertools.com Make sure to tell them the correct voltage (110V or 220V) of your country and also add the customs fee if you're not in the USA. They don't work with interchangeable tips so take a close look at the pens they have to see which ones you will need. If you need help I'm sure that Pat (the owner) will be happy to help you.

Both machines (single and dual) have 40 watts of electronic power.

Yes, it is. I've never used more than 6 on the temperature setting.
