That's the weapon you find in the boss fight and is really only effective against Yhorm, I'm afraid.

He's not immune to black fire...

Steven Yoell yeah he is, but it's somehow easier to storm ruler him (that's what i did). too much HP for normal attack

I beat him with sorcery, greatbow, black flame and pestilent mercury... I know what he is or isn't resistant to...

well thats really cool bro! I can't seem to beat him without storm ruler regardless of how many times i tried with pyromancy only. and my siegward died in that battle too,
