The original project is a major factor that inspired me to want to go into AI/ML as a career as a high schooler, and I'm currently an undergraduate CS student concentrating in AI/ML. Definitely have an emotional connection to this project.

This project holds a special place in my heart, as it inspired me to do a Master's degree in Deep Learning back in 2017 when I was in my first year of Btech Computer Science. So, here I'm in my first year of Mtech, studying this fantastic field. I would really like to see the implementation.

I recently saw a research paper called saycan. Where you use a large language model to do more high level planning and a value function to estimate how feasible the action the large language model suggested is. I really recommend the paper I think it can really be useful for training a sort of npc.

I still find the old gta5 vids useful in my research when I need some tips and tricks, so this is really cool to see! It would be interesting to see how well an autoencoder might do to get unsupervised representations from the data and then adding that model to something like a CNN or RL model, and seeing how well it drives, anyway this channel is such an inspiration, love your content.

@@richardfinney2548 the results were surprisingly good, just with a keras CNN and with data of me driving on single lane roads with good white lines in both sides.

@@richardfinney2548 I think it is worth a try, now about the time, it totally depends on how comfortable you are with using tensorflow etc. Also in my case I used gsmepad controls.

Any thoughts on using Matlab/Simulink Roadrunner? It seems to allow making Unreal 3D scenes for testing automated driving? Oh, I remember the old project At the time, I couldn't run GTA V so I tried doing it with Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield instead, never got too far and just ran some OpenCV filters on it, but it was cool Guess I might have my computer play some GTA this time around

Salam If you still didn't do the reboot i suggest you use The City Sample aka The Matrix demo made by Epic games in Unreal, I would have done it but the demo require tons of resources and computing power that I don't have

I watched the stream for a bit and found many funny but also, incredible moments. Like dodge incoming traffic, reposition after a crash or having to deal with water. Does the car have sensors all around or it is based on the "hood cam" ? or mybe a better question would be, what input is given to the ai?

I used to teach the basics of using Jupyter notebooks with GPU instances in the cloud to do deep learning and would sometimes finish the training with a video of yours (from 5+ years ago). Why not ask rock star for the coding on the cab drivers in the game and use that code with a few tweaks! Because the cab drivers in the actual game drive pretty good no crashes they just need a waypoint and your off. Just an idea for the self driving car project! I think that would be dope

Convolutional network only, he's just constantly updating the model parameters as it trains so it is a bit familiar with RL

I think the Real Ai driving is so early to this world. Is not a technically problem, the humans law can’t be solution. When big accident happened real Auto machine kill Person.
