I know this is completely unrelated-but my local radio channel has a “spiritualist” who “reads” callers and answers questions. Well-I normally just turn the radio off but I’m tired of it,I notified to radio station I will be filing a complaint with the FCC unless they give equal time to a Christian Pastor as they regard the occult.

Or stop listening to that radio station... Why would a Christian want to have "equal time" on a radio station that promotes such Paganism? Why try to mingle these two ideas? If you want to call in and challenge them on their show, then that is one thing, but I don't think that it is edifying to try to set a precedent in the secular world that would then backfire (as it has in the past) and Christian radio stations then be forced to give "equal time" to occultists on their own stations. It is our job to hear the truth of God's word as written in scripture and preach it. Not to try force everyone else to submit to it... not even God does that. He has provided a way to salvation in Christ, and the door is currently open to whosoever will hear the good news and obey, by believing unto righteousness and confessing the Lord Jesus Christ, recognizing the severity of sin and calling upon His name for forgiveness to be purged from old sin and then follow after Him walking in faith to do the will of the Father.

@@Druunah69 Demanding that there is some entitlement for a private radio station to give "equal time" opens the door to many other groups who believe that they also are entitled to "equal time", and so these types of things tend to backfire. You can make a request as a listener, and maybe take the time to witness to the person at the radio station while you're at it... perhaps they will receive a love for the truth and get the other crap off their station. The point being, demanding "equal time" as an entitlement gives "equal" legitimacy to the other view, and brings God's word down to be equal with man's word. (which it is not) I would love for all non-believers to hear the word of God, but there are good ways to share with those who show an interest and want to hear, and then there is the wrong way by forcing it down their throats and making demands, causing them to further harden their hearts against hearing the truth. Love is voluntary. Use of force is not love.

Apostles are not Prophets they heard directly from Jesus. Prophets heard from Jesus before he became man. Teachers are people who speak the true word of God and we all have healing power through the word and blood of Jesus Christ. In Old Testament when the disciples spoke in tongue it was because the Lord wanted to get across information to the people who had different languages at the same time. I am not sure about speaking in tongue with the New Testament because you have to test the spirit and the Lord is not about confusion that was Old Testament I believe.

Paul informs us how those with the gift of tongues should behave themselves in Church but many disregard this teaching. A friend of mine managed to persuade her sister and her sisters boyfriend to come to the church after years of prayer, on that day the guessed speaker was late and *the Pastor actually asked everyone to stand and pray in tongues.* It was a horrible sight and unruly, there were people matching about, waving their arms about and making a great show of themselves until my friend's sister and boyfriend walked out. 1 Corinthians 14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? It's got that bad that some people actually believe that if you can't, wont or don't speak in tongues you can't be saved, it's truly alarming how a little leaven of error can spread through a congregation so fast.

Absolutely True ! I experienced the pit just as it has been spoken of in this teaching. I was 15 I consumed shrooms came in contact with demons and died . Yea knew I was in hell it was dark it was falling away it was a place where all my sins was presented to me , I was in state of becoming less could not deny the truth of my faults that where being put before me , my only uttered response was but Jesus forgives. Around 30:15 It seems to me this may actually allude to the Lazarus we know from the Bible (when he died), because why else would the rich man think Lazarus could be able to warn his brothers unless he was going to return from the dead? This is, of course, conditional on this being a real account, and not just simply a parable. I am most curious what Pastor Barnett has to say about this because I believe he is lead by the Holy Spirit in his understanding of many things. Around 43:50 Our life today, compared to how our life will be, is probably very similar to our now just being a fetus in the womb. Someday, we will truly be born, and truly live, the way God intended it from the beginning.

What this guy is describing is Sheol which is where those who are bad go, and they are tormented until the time of the 2nd resurrection at which time they are cast into the lake of fire. Paradise is "Abraham's Bosom" in which you are given a state of rest, with no more sorrows, worries, etc. After Jesus died, he went down to Paradise and gathered all the saints from it, and took them back to Heaven as they continue to rest as spirits, waiting to be reunited with their glorified, resurrected body. At least this is how I understand it. Remember, Jesus told that 1 criminal "this day you will be with me in paradise". So Paradise is that heavenly state of rest for the righteous.

I'm not sure what the pastor's actual name is that gives the lectures and sermons on this KZbin channel but I'd like to share a dream a had last night of DTBM (pastor). I was in a room and it seemed to be a drinking party when a woman approached me and sat on my lap. She began flirting with me and whispering in my ear. DTBM (pastor) approached me and said to me "follow me". I proceeded to get up and follow DTBM (pastor) away from the party and female. The next part of the dream I'm in a concrete basement type atmosphere with a random person and DTBM (pastor). The unknown man is a contract worker and he's trying to explain something to me that I can't remember. The next part of the dream DTBM (pastor) is in a pickup truck far ahead of us (myself and unknown man driving) and there as a huge chainlink fence that's in between our vehicles that seems to be tethered together. DTBM (pastor) starts driving faster and faster away from us and the tether on the chainlink fence breaks and DTBM (pastor) spins out of control and lands inside a ditch. Just myself approaches the crash site and I ask DTBM (pastor) if he's okay. The dreams ends and I awake. I've prayed about this dream for the Lord to reveal to me what it means. I cannot make sense of it. I'm sharing because I dreamed of this man on this KZbin channel and I feel like I must share.

Tongues is always used to further the Gospel, nothing else. If a person is to witness to a person who is Chinese, God may give the gift of language, in this case Chinese to a believer to be able to give the good news of salvation to the foreigner. At Pentecost, there were only Jews in the upper room, they came to celebrate the Jewish Holiday of Pentecost as required by God. These were the Jews who were dispersed among the nations by the Assyrians and Babylonians., they all spoke different languages, but God allowed for all of them to understand each other. The writer of Acts 2 lists the languages presented at Pentecost. These Jews would go back to their nations and spread the Gospel. It helps to understand Jewish history and what went on in the first century, the arrival of their Jewish Messiah. see 1 Chapter of Matthew. Herod asked the Magi where the King of the Jews would be born and Herod asked the same from the Jewish Leaders, they knew that Christ was expected. See the second Chapter of Matthew.

The dead (Death No 3, Gen 3:19, Ecc 12:7) are in a holding cell at the moment (either Paradise or Hell). The final destination will either be Lake of fire or Heaven when Jesus Christ comes back to judge both dead and living. Death No 2, Rev 20:11-15

Just one thing is confusing me.....I would think Hades is hell, because if you get judged into hell at judgment, wouldn't shortly after hell be casted into the lake of fire? It would seem useless for hell to exist if it were just a short visit on the way to the L.O.F. I believe the "rich man" was in hell instantly when he died. Then would be brought up to judgment, told what he failed at, then cast into the second death. Unless hell is the L.O.F. Then it would make no sense that hell be cast into hell. You got the wrong ideal what Hell is. Hell is the English version of Hades which is Greek. And Sheol is Hebrew. All are the graveyard. And Gehenna is a garbage dump. Hell is thrown in the lake of fire because there is no need for it anymore. A place where the body and soul is destroyed. Explain to me please, how there can be gnashing of teeth from anguish and regret? Sounds like there would have to be awareness to be able to weep, wail, and gnash in anguish. Hell was compared to Gehenna, which means it isn't the same place. Great presentation. • As many I've always believed that no one was in Hell until Rev 20:11-15 but Matthew 13 _'seems'_ to imply that some people are cast into Hell at The Second Coming and possibly with The Antichrist... Revelation 19:20 And the beast _[Antichrist]_ was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. _[Hell]_ • Additionally, I've always seen The Underworld consisting of three parts. - Hades/Showl - Abraham's Bosom - The Abyss _[The Bottomless Pit]_ I read the KJV and hearing that the NASV was more accurate tried to move over to it but just couldn't, as I missed the poetic flow of the KJV so am stuck with it. However, it seems to me that its great success has fuelled the error that hell is under the earth by translating Hades and Showl as _'Hell'_ making the following verse confusing... Revelation 20:14 And death and hell _[Hades]_ were cast into the lake of fire _[Hell]._ This is the second death. Maybe they had good reasons and there was some logical argument behind it at the time, but if not it is stunning that such scholarly people would make such an error that has to a large extent, caused much of the english speaking world and especially Satan's Hollywood... to perpetuate the notion that Hell was below the surface of the earth.

I read and study the KJV but find I get much more success when debating by quoting either the NIV or the NASV. I have never heard anyone say that the gifts are not for today! I am just starting this lecture but if I hear what you have heard, I will have to ask the Lord if I should listen to my favorite teacher anymore.. The devil is roaming around looking to destroy. I had to stop going to a local church after only being able to attend 1 service after the corvid thingy because the pastor said that we had to be as perfect as Jesus after being saved. The story Jesus tells of Lazarus and the rich man has a inconsistent doctrine concerning the place someone goes to after death... unless.... one looks at time as a creation of God and must be seen in the perspective of people living in time and those who are already living in eternity. So... Jesus sees in the eternal perspective and described the experiences of the two people from the point of view where the rich man is actually experiencing ghihana. So absent from the body is present with the Lord is true from God's perspective but those still living in the created time say one day the earth will give up the dead and they shall rise to meet Jesus. Wonderful teaching. However, I have to say that gift of tongues are real. I received it myself without anybody present. To date, I have baptised so many and almost all of them speak in tongues. Not really. People just refer to Sheol as Hell. Sheol is temporary until all non believers, the Beast, Antichrist, and Satan are all cast into the Lake of Fire after the Final Judgment. This is also called the Second Death in Revelation 21:8: "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
