Thank You for this sermon. I've often wondered if the reason my granddaughter's life was taken when she was only 6 years old, was to "save" her. She loved Jesus and was still innocent, but her parents were, and still are, living a polyandry/multi-partner lifestyle. Her parents are all broken, but still unrepentant. Please pray for them.

I heard a Justin say that the reason one day a guy named Sam one day comes in wearing a dress and expects you to start calling him Samantha is that God's wrath is already being pit out into the world because sin has reached that limit! That is the best way Ive ever heard it being described! I feel truly sorry for anyone that mentally is going through that in their life. But also, I believe we need to not only pray for them but not call them something they aren't! I was curious as to what you would say about dying, on account of dying myself less than one year ago. For me, there was nothing. And I do mean nothing. No light, no angels, no demons, no banquet , no pain , no joy , no memory. No memory of dying. I don`t think the human mind is capable of understanding, the concept of nothing, but I can. I`ve been there. All I know is that two and a half weeks later, I woke up in a hospital bed , feeling like I was trampled by a herd of bison. I was barely able to draw breath the pain was so intense . I`m much better now and I can`t stop thinking that on account of my recent efforts to repent a life of sin and walk with THE LORD . I had begun reading a bible a long ago deceased brother had given me. Forty years I had that book before opening it. I read , I prayed , then I died. Did JESUS intervene on my behalf ? Doctors are certain I was dead. Four separate times. Once more than twenty minutes,. Now I wasn`t in hell , I wasn`t in heaven. So where was I ? I really appreciate your interpretations of scripture, and look to learn more about GOD , and how I might better please him.

Since you are here telling this, that was not your body's final ultimate death; and with being eternal and omniscient God knew it would not be, therefore you did not have an experience of final, ultimate, death, so, the two things are not the same and do not compare.

You confirm my believes, I believe if you are dead you are asleep and know nothing until the day of judgement when the dead in Christ shall rise first and then the rest. @@justmyopinion7 How does that interact with Luke 16 verses 22 and 23 in the parable Jesus told, "One day the beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side." That's one day the beggar died and was carried, not one day the beggar died and on another day he was carried. Or was Jesus inadvertently misleading us about that timing? Perhaps he forgot, after all, there was much on his mind and mistakes would be understandable. Or do Jesus' parables not actually parallel reality, maybe they sort of parallel reality kind of, in a way, almost, and here's a fudge factor in them?

@@scottfw7169 I have wondered a lot about that piece as well, but believe pattern is prophecy. If 20 verses point to us sleeping and 1 verse point to us going to heaven immediately.... shall I discard the 20 and accept the 1 cause it fits my narative. Especially if the other 20 verses are as clear as day? I believe Jesus told this parable to show that the end result is final, not like the roman catholic church teaches you can pray for the dead to get a pass to heaven and this parable also points towards Jesus Himself. In the parable, in verse 31 we see "And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.", so they have the scriptures, but even if someone comes back from the dead they would still not believe them. Jesus came back from the dead and still the pharisees didn't believe in Jesus. If this parable was true, I would be very disappointed, because I don't want to be in Abraham's bosom, I want to be with our Father and Jesus Christ His Son....

I remember reading that one of the major war criminals in WWII told his followers that, when he died, he wanted to be cremated and his ashes released & spread all over from an airplane. When asked why he responded that he was he didn't believe in God and if he was right it wouldn't matter. The arguments given from the passages for babies going to heaven are inconsistent with the doctrines of salvation. In the Old Testament all went to sheol. Far better is simply to state that they await judgement, judgement is for sin, and as they were too young to choose to sin they have nothing to fear. We can be confident that God's judgement is just. If we don't maintain this position, then all the lost were once saved. But the Bible teaches that we are born, even conceived as enemies of God. That is we are lost and need to be saved.

Babies, those who have yet to realize and act upon the free will given to all men in a way that is dishonoring to the Word and Will of the Living God, go to heaven when they die, no different than the unborn who die in the womb. There was good points about Hades(place of torment) and attributes in there. But this teaching needs fix the main answer What Happens to NT Believers at the moment of their Death. According to Bible clear answer is told in Hebrews 9:27. So we all go to God's judgement after death ☠️ where God Lord Jesus judge us and our eternal destiny will be decided after that judgement which is everlasting heaven (if you have been baptized only once with water Christian Baptism and you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour according the Apostolic Creed). We are saved through Grace of Jesus not by our good work's. If we die without Christ we go to (Gehenna)Hades which is extremely horrible place as video said the waiting room for hell. About this horrible waiting room place Jesus teached about the story of rich man and Lazarus.

That is a very difficult question to answer as nowhere in the bible is anything like this mentioned, which makes me believe that murder and suicide are seen as the same act. I do believe that, if someone is not at their right mind like being drugged, depressed etc and commit a crime of which they have absolutely no control over that they will be forgiven for it. I also believe in grace and that our Father at the right time have someone to pray and intercede for that believer and pray atonement for them. Our Father's grace is enough for each one of us. I am not saying this lightly, as I actually had 3 friends that died from suicide and have also been struggling with the same questions. Blessings and stay strong.

Dear preacher, I am not a preacher just a simple person that loves God with all my heart. I listened intently to your sermon, but respectfully disagree with your preaching today. I always have great respect for your teachings as it is clear and out of the Word, but today I don't agree. I believe when we do a study of the Word, we must look throughout the whole scripture how the subject is handled and there are no other verses supporting any of your teaching on this subject. I might be wrong, as said I am not a preacher and don't read through the Bible every 3 months that you do, so you would definitely know better. From my little understanding of scriptures I believe the following: When we die, we are asleep and know nothing.... Eccl 9:5 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." So here we see that the dead knows nothing and they have no reward. Dan 12:1-2 "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." We see that only after or during the tribulation will people shall awake from their sleep, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting contempt. Even Jesus said that people that have died are only asleep, the most famous of course Lazarus. In John 11:11-14 "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead." And we get the same applied to Jairus's daughter in Luke 8:52-53 "And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead." All of the verses above clearly shows that Jesus said those that have died are asleep and knows nothing. So when will the dead arise? 1 Thes 4:15-17 "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." So we see during the tribulation times or after, Jesus will call us up and those that are still alive will be changed into heavenly bodies and those that has died in Christ will rise FIRST. So we see that those that have died in Christ are still asleep in their graves. I also believe this is the rapture, for those that have died without Christ will only rise after the 1000 years reign of Christ on earth according to Rev 20:5 "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection." There are many more scriptures throughout the Word all pointing to the same truths. I believe the parable of Lazarus and the rich man is exactly that... a parable. Everyone always points to the criminal on the cross, for that I am always asking the difference between the following sentences: I assure you... today you will be with Me in paradise. I assure you today... you will be with me in paradise. As I understand, when the Bible was written, there were no punctuation in Hebrew or Greek, and this might have been the cause, or the roman catholic church changed it like this so that people can believe in purgatory. See if people are going to a holding place now, then purgatory is real, but if there is no holding place then it is not real. Also, how can people go to hell before being judged? The judgement of the great white throne only occurs after the 1000 years when some will rise to everlasting life and some to everlasting damnation. The Bible clearly says this is the first resurrection. I know people claim to be absent of body is to be present with God, but if you fall asleep at night, are you aware of how long you are asleep until you wake up to the morning? You can be asleep for 2 days or a week and will have no realisation of time passed, the same when we die. The dead will close their eyes and when they open it they will see Jesus, whether they have been asleep for 1 day or 4000 years, they have no realisation of time. So what happens to the soul? In Gen 2:7 we see the following: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Man BECAME a living soul, we were not given a soul but became a soul. So when we die, the breath returns to God and the soul stops existing. When you are asleep, you have no perception of time and the same when you are dead, so to be absent of body and present with God can be 1 day or 4000 years, you will have no perception of time.
