Hi Dan, In an previous video you showed your engines which appear to be diesels then in another video you showed swing down drive boxes typical of wharrams with outboards. Any chance of a complete drivetrain video ?

Would a plastic Owl Hoisted up the rigging help with the birds.

Yo BoatDude, great name. Yes! Great idea. I see them all the time but never put 1+1 together ! Bit slow on the uptake at times.

You can get Bird of prey pattern kites to hang from rigging or flag masts. As they move in the wind it looks like its hovering over the boat. Perched owls work for a while but gulls and corvids will tend to attack them ...if they dont move they get used to them.... But your on the right track .👍🏻

Hi Clive, thanks for the comment. Can buy black bird of prey kite in the local shops here. We dont have seagulls here, all the birds of prey drive them away :)

So there has been a change in the country/ port clearance. Likely many don't know that it is less difficult. Do they expect AIS to stay on at anchor, or just underway?

Hi Brairh, we always used the AIS when underway, turned off when at anchor or moored up.
