Alex can come back from a point blank nuclear bomb and tank missiles to the face multiple times before needing to heal, and that's without the armor he gets. Cole can die to a hail of bullets and possibly 2 rockets. Alex's strength is enough to toss around tanks and helicopters with ease, and has an excessive assortment of weapons for nearly any situation. Cole is limited to lightning, and fire OR ice, never both, which could lead to them being removed since it's a morality thing and it'd be assumptions from then on, which make him less likely overall as is. Alex is far superior to Cole in basically every way imaginable, and there's nothing to stop him from just walking up and absorbing him from stealth, since he can disguise himself as literally anyone he has ever absorbed. It's extremely one sided with virtually no similarities whatsoever of the characters themselves.

They are similar for being in the same stuff..both are shunned from society for their pretty epic but dangerous powers. Plus when they debuted they were both considered the best games on their console. And just because they don't have similar doesnt take away from the fact that they are similar. I think its fine if they have different powers

@@darthcerebus Its been a while since I actually looked things up about this but as I recall, Alex didn't come back from a point blank nuke, he got caught in the blast from a nuke after it exploded in the water and almost died and only survived because a crow flew near him and he absorbed it to heal, so the nuke would have killed him and as far as I recall, he didn't even get the full blast of it. As for disguising himself, Cole has the ability to sense enemies and I believe even if they are disguised so no matter what disguise Alex has, since he is an enemy, Cole will sense him. I am also 90% sure the good ending is canon so he has his ice powers which means he could freeze Alex. If they used Evil Cole however then Cole wins no question because Evil Cole becomes the Beast who actually came back after being nuked without the need to absorb something and the only thing that actually killed the Beast is a device that specifically targeted conduits like him, otherwise he seemed untouchable. Cole has also had an entire building collapse with him on it and barely noticed it and even before he got his powers he survived being run over from a truck so he has good durability as well. Its been a while since I played INfamous or looked up anything for Prototype so I could be wrong but I remember when I was looking up the nuke feat that it wasn't as impressive as people were saying.

Welp. Time for suggestions. Please go on the official forum if you agree! Saxton Hale (TF2) vs Senator Armstrong (MGS) Two ridiculously badass and manly men who love a good fight. Also, they both embody TF2's Australia and America respectively while being augmented by an external material (Australium and nanomachines). Zygarde (Pokémon) vs Chaos (Sonic) The two are considered the guardian of something (the ecosystem and the chao species respectively) and are known to cause great destruction when provoked. They also both have several transformations according to how much power they have at their disposal. Also, we need more kaiju fights. Yamcha (DBZ) vs Kazuma (YYH) They have both begun their journeys by being the hero's rival. Also, despite being strong in their own right, they just can't compare with the real powerhouses of their shows. Yamcha also needs some recognition for once. Rey (SW) vs Korra (LoK) I don't like either of those characters, but I feel that this would be an interesting match. They are both a female successor to the previous male protagonist of their series and are naturally gifted with their universes' superpowers (the Force and bending). Bonus, I would like to see one of them die, both if possible. Call it a spite match for me. Kars (Jojo) vs Meruem (HxH) Both of the two are reputed to be the perfect lifeform as well as the leader of the remains of their race (The Chimera and the Pillar Men). Their character arcs are also quite contrasting, which would give an interesting fight. Kung Fury vs Rex Colt (Far Cry) Two absurdly badass americans who have been gifted with superpowers (by being bitten by a cobra and struck by lightning and being turned into a cyborg). Their series also parody the 80s' action movie tropes. Felonious Gru (Despicable Me) vs Megamind This one's a bit overdue. Both movies have gone out around the same time and focus on the point of view of a sympathetic villain They also rely on gadgets and technology to fight. Asterix the Gaul vs Popeye the Sailor Both are european comics heroes who are gifted super strenght by a magical artifact (magic potion and spinach). They both also use cartoon physics from time to time. King Boo (Luigi's Mansion) vs Gozer (Ghostbusters) Two undead powerful entities who have destruction and chaos as their ultimate goal. They also have both fought with vacuum-using fighters at some point. Genos (OPM) vs Shishigami (Inuyashiki) Two troubled young men who have been turned into cyborgs after having been nearly killed (or litterally killed in Shishigami's case). They both solve their problems with violence and are very revengefull, although Genos decided to channel his efforts into being a hero while Shishigami loves murdering people. I would have put Inuyashiki here as a sugestion against someone else, but he's just too sweet for DB. Link battle Royale Since the Hero of Hyrule has had many incarnations and skills, let's put them on the field to see who is the best! For the sake of simplicity, I would take the Hero of Time, Twilight, Winds, Skyward Sword, and Wild. So, what do you guys think? Also, could someone help me find an opponent for Waluigi?

David ryan I think the fairest way to do it is to grant them access to their entire arsenal, but only pay attention to the notable stuff. This includes the strongest spells, pyromancies, shouts, Daedric artifacts, boss weapons, etc. Death Battle looks at combatants at their full potential after all.

I agree with Miles, Sindel, and Obi-Wan expect some. Danny Phantom's most popular opponents are Yusuke and Jake Long....i don't see them using Pac-Man for that battle. Crona and Beerus are complicated because both of their most popular opponents have already been in previous battles. (Carnage and Darkseid) So i don't know what they will do for those two. I'm assuming they may bring Carnage back to fight Crona but i don't know about Darkseid and Beerus but anything can happen i suppose

What a great DBC this was. I liked the planning for this episode due to how it is the second final episode before the year ends. Which, the questions were better honest ones. Some biased, but still honest. While I am a little upset the middle section was short-lived, I did enjoy the Star Wars topic and how bad Rise of Skywalker is going to be. Ben went off-topic in the best way possible by asking a quotable and laughable question. Lastly, CoDB was also great. Especially that one image. The last CoDB I felt like we have already done, but still interesting to do. Overall, great DBC and I can not wait for the New Year's special for the final DBC episode of the year. Question To Everyone, including Death Battle (or ScrewAttack) Members: What was your favorite Song of the year from Death Battle? Why? For Me: Great songs came out this year. The Dark Lords, Mighty, Mega Maina. Brandon Yates and Werewolf Therewolf went all out this year in the best way. My favorite song of the year has to be Ride Into Hell due to how amazing the song stays action packed. The finale to how the song ends were as amazing as to how Retro Rivals ended. Amazing, catchy, and will always replay again and again.

it would have been more impressive if they had actually measured night guy's damage done and not just assumed it's stronger than naruto at his strongest. it's the one problem i have with the fight, they measured out all might fine (though they really shouldn't have scaled him to gigantomachia, not enough of machia has been shown for us to compare him to all might), but then for guy they just go "yeah, i guess he's stronger than naruto, so here's an instace where naruto did something guy never could, and i guess guy just beats that because we say so."

Might, Might is another one of these fights where I do feel like the animation being purely for entertainment does kind of matter; not nearly as much as the other fight animations I have problems with but there is still the slight misuse with the way character's abilities are used/shown. In this DBC it's mention having Goku in a fight where he didn't need to go super saiyan would be lame but I feel like we've already had a case similar to this with Sora vs. Pit where Goofy and Donald were nearby presumably for Sora to use his drive forms but he didn't need said forms to win the fight. The research presented the battle well as a close fight which led the victory to almost be a bit cooler because the option available but not necessary to rely on. If Might, Might had gone in a similar way and both characters didn't just use all of their abilities at the end, the battle would have both felt smoother and would have not only portrayed the characters better but would also make the explanation at the end feel a bit better for the general audience. It's disconnecting from the research when you have to realize the fight animation is basically a DBX and then we have to put ourself back into the mindset the research applies again after the fight is over. I get the animation and Death Battle as a whole is ultimately for entertainment, I personally just don't think the fight animation should be taken so unimportant as it is. But I'm one person after all.
