This is a Q&A video.
Go here to Support This Channel / prasanthk
At the moment My monthly budget for videos is around 6500 Rs or around $100. Which is roughly what i get from KZbin advertising. I am profitable by roughly $5 or so every month. So i am not stoping making videos anytime soon.
But for nearly 40-60 videos i do every month, its a small budget.
Many have been asking (two people asked me), that they like to support my channel via patreon. So here we go.
I have 3800 subscribers, but only about 400-500 people watch my videos regularly.
Even if half of them 200 people give me $1 every month that would be $200 or 12500 Rs
Which with my current youtube payments that would be 18000 Rs or $300 per month. I could buy really cool stuff and make amazing videos.
That would be just $12 per year.
If you want me to answer any questions please leave them below and i will answer them.
This video review is brought to you by www.prasanthblo...

I think that the comments/commenters are nice because of your personality and sense of humor. You seem humble and optimistic, and don't take yourself too seriously. It doesn't come off as fake or forced at all, unlike many KZbinrs now..

I love your mentality regarding subscribers and completely understand where you're coming from. I've never heard a single KZbinr say they're satisfied with their current amount of subscribers, not for any reason! That's such an alien concept to almost everyone, we're so conditioned to feel we need to always be getting bigger and bigger - if 100 was a big milestone then 500 must be the next, then 1000, then 5000 etc. We don't see there being an ideal number that we reach and then feel content with. As I say, I completely undertand whay you mean about comments and it's also refreshing to hear someone being a human being about it. When I found your channel, I didn't know if it was deliberate ASMR, some sort of informational service, a hobby etc. I didn't need to know, it didn't matter because I loved the content. Obviously most people don't understand ASMR and there's a culture (especially in the United States but it's here in Britain too) online, a misanthropic culture of being rude, crude and blaming the other person if they're human enough to not enjoy your ugly attitude. I've called it the war on empathy and the 2016 US presidential race tells the story better than I could. Thoughtfulness, calmness, curiosity and warmth are seen as weak while hostility, anger and belligerence are seen as strong (rather than insecure and immature). I've seen it happen on other ASMR channels - they reach a point of visibility and things start getting miserable. Sometimes it's the ASMR fans bringing the ugliness by responding to a clueless 'outsider' with spiteful attacks, not seeing that they're spitting in the drinking water no matter who provoked them. When too many people fill a space, these things happen; four or five people can have a decent exchange but 73 people can't and so people behave like they're in a crowd - the humanity is gone and the community breaks down. There's no way to go back once you've become popular so it's wise of you to want to avoid reaching that water level in the first place. Unless KZbin radically changes their commenting system, which they have no incentive to (fighting is spending time on site, which is money), it's probably the only way. ASMR is one of the last vestiges of the original (2006) KZbin concept, the cozy little community of humble individuals being themselves for the sake of being themselves. It's comforting to know that this little corner of the internet won't be going anywhere any time soon!

+MoonlitVibe Totally agree with everything you said. I rather have few subscribers who really like to watch my videos. I use to post my videos on twitter, now i have stopped that too. I even thought about adding a bumper at the end of the videos to ask viewers to unsubscribe if they don't like the videos. I only stopped because it sounds a bit rude :-) I also like small subscriber base because i can reply to all comments :-) About ASMR, i am not trying to make asmr videos. If they are its unintentional. Some have even asked me to tag my video asmr. But i don't because i am not making asmr videos. If anyone finds my videos relaxing i am really happy for them. But that is not the intent. I am just trying to make videos of interesting products and things i find :-)
@MoonlitVibe
@MoonlitVibe 8 жыл бұрын
***** That's even better! I actually much prefer videos that don't deliberately try to be relaxing or induce ASMR - there's more of a magic to it for me. I know what you mean about not wanting to sound rude - I don't know if it's just the English language (that's all I speak) but sometimes things sound rude no matter what your intention is. Alright, take care man.

@Quitenice
@Quitenice 9 жыл бұрын
No planning. If I find a interesting puzzle, I will search for what more is out there in puzzles and in my price range. So usually buy similar category of products. And upload them every few days so it's not too obvious and looks random. For example recently found around 15 kitchen tools. Of which two I have all ready uploaded and rest are coming in the next month or so. I don't plan, but keep my mind open and look at every product I find interesting and fun. Quite a few puzzles still to do. They take so long to make 😄. Thank you for Checking it out and commenting, keep watching.

I have a few questions that are pretty random, off the top of the head. What do you do in your spare time?(Apart from KZbin) What's your job? Have you been learning English your whole life? You seem like you speak fluent English to me.. Have you ever visited other countries? If not, where would you like to go/visit? Are you vegetarian/vegan? Whats the best bit of technology you have bought recently?
@Quitenice
@Quitenice 9 жыл бұрын
Chris Cross Mostly shopping, watching tv and making youtube videos, and its so much fun. I rent out shops and live with that income, no job per se. I was taught at school so pretty familiar with it. But rarely get to speak in english with other people, so speaking is still a struggle. Thats why again and again comes up a lot in the videos 😄. Never been outside India, not a big traveller. I would like to visit US, Japan etc. But pretty lazy to travel. Discovery Channel is much better way to see around the world 😄. Morally Vegetarian but occasionally Non Vegetarian. I am big into gadgets, last big one was iPhone 6. Saving up for watch 😄. Thank you for Checking it out and commenting, keep watching.
