Interesting! Lifeboat too no wonder you make a pulk . Ah own bindings makes sense for those boots. Neoshell was a good product similar to soft shell but wp. Oh that Montane looks good.

I know it's a bit late to be asking questions, but perhaps this one can be added to the pile for next session: What does it take to start doing what you do (the expedition side that is, not Alan)? Do you have any formal education or training marking you a 'scientist' rather than 'someone who likes long walks in dangerous circumstances'?

I'll note it down

This was both interesting and informative. Then I wonder, as a Swede, what are you doing in Sweden?

Oh it's just a lovely place. And I have friends there.

The rear platform sounds good, but it could be happy instead of stern 😁 God my jokes suck. Seriously though, consider whether you want it to be solid or perforated. If it catches a wave, it could put a lot of force on the hull if it's solid. I've had plenty of boats with stern "swim platforms" and they were all just about the waterline, with drainage slats.
@AlexHibbertOriginals11 ай бұрын
😂 Paul. Yes you're spot on with the platform. It's to be a sturdy GRP grating with tons of drainage.

I hope someone writes up timestamps for this video. I find every answer I listened through fascinating, but my ADHD make it impossible to just listen to a video like this in one go. Either way, here's some engagement to appease the YT gods!

You are silly! I spent 45 years in a Canadian climate that achieved -40 or colder for far too many days of my life. Cold weather is BRUTAL and explains why I have no interest in returning. Explore the south Pacific!
