YE are a lovely family folks......so determined and focused your parents are Laura..... pity you are not going to pursue a life like they have but I know only too well how it can be 24/7 365 and that can be daunting.....loved our time spent in the Vendee for our hols and the laid back attitude is always a plus. I'm very much a Declan and would have loved to try it but then that's life.......stay busy and all the best with the herd test..!!!

well done - hard work our family nearly moved saw lot of farms with SAFER and ADESEA met quite a few expats - the men were fine as they were farming but their ladies wernt so keen - they missed friends and the gossip - all loved the weather and the no rush haymaking! the french used to say there were many british/irish names in the phone directory but not many in the graveyard!

Just today came on your channel and was so surprised that it’s the Gardiner family formerly of Eyrecourt and Birr. I know Emily’s sister and brother law . Some years ago I was with my family heading to France for the yearly holiday and was in the company of some of your friends Joe and Betty they were on their way to visit you down there I would love to rent a cottage off you if and when you get them up and running I think you made the great choice and you seem very happy there . France is one of my favorite places and French people are always helpful and friendly .

I checked agricultural land prices in France and it’s all making €6000 a hectare. Can you advise me where I would get land at the prices you are talking about €2,500 a hectare

it really depends on the area your looking in, northern france is expensive but more towards the centre would be better priced. :)
