All I can say: you guys have more rights and freedom being gay, than Russian gays. Even if some couple decided to have a channel on KZbin, even cover their faces, people who aggressively and negatively relate to LGBT community, will find them and... you know. There will be sad ending. Some guys have brave, they open gay, have KZbin channel. And the tons of hate that they have, threats, make them feel so depressed and fear. So trust me guys: Korea is more open minded than Russia. I can give many more examples but then my message will be very very long.

I really support your decision on wearing masks. I follow many other international channels who decided not to show their faces. I guess the main reason for people to ask you not to wear a mask is that humen mostly communicate through faces and they want to follow the content of the videos through facial emotions. Furthermore, I feel the most important thing is not showing the face or editing the videos professionally, but the content and flow of the video need to be entertaining or heartwarming. That's what attracts me.

07:00 i know i'm late but firstly, them wearing masks has never made their content any less enjoyable. i really take issue with this comment. it is easy to write a comments about what other youtubers are doing and telling people to "fight" when you don't have to live with the consequences of it. i was really upset about it because it felt dismissive of the issues that they have to face as gay men living in south korea and creating videos on a public platform. whether it is to protect their privacy or protect themselves from abuse, it is what they feel comfortable doing, and everyone should respect that. on this matter no one has the right to tell them what to do, or question the choice that they have made. i love you hyugayso, if you ever see this lmao.

Both Dia and DG speak English so well! I'm very impressed! Even though I emigrated from S. Korea with my family to live in the US, I grew up knowing a lot about Korea. Even though it seems like a very modern country, S. Korea is still pretty antiquated in their thinking. Not until recently are people pushing back on having to include a photo with your resume when applying for a job. Unlike here in the US, they can hire you based purely on your looks (also because there are so many qualified, same-ish applicants). So, like Dia said, there aren't even anti-discrimination laws there. So, you can get backlash for being gay, trans, anything LGBTQ+. I applaud Dia for recently revealing his whole face. I think both of them a very brave and smart. I'm very proud of them. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
