And I am an atheist from Europe and am trying to be much more civil and friendly with Muslims because Shabir is so friendly and gives a good interpretation of Islam. Mustafa Sabri Efendi, the last SheikhulIslam of the Ottoman Empire, tells in his work Mevkif'ul-Akl 👇 [If the state leaves the line of Islam, "Obeying the dictates of religion is not the business of the government. It is only the business of society." says, this is to separate religion from the state. In such a case, the state apostatized (abandoned religion). If the society consents to such a government, or if the government will make laws by taking the society's proxy in the parliament (that is, by voting), the society will become apostate just as the government is apostate. In this case, the following verse applies to both that government and that ummah: "Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed, they are the disbelievers themselves." (Surah Maida, Verse 44) A political regime that accepts the principle of secularism means that it has rebelled against the rules of Islam. Therefore, first of all, this government apostatized, and then those who obeyed this administration became apostates one by one. Just as those who take part in the political administration are apostates one by one, the masses obeying this government also fall into apostasy (kufr).] (Mavkif'ul-Akıl, 4/280)

Jesus does not specify what the law of the land should be, except that you should give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's, and the greatest commandment is to love God, and the second is to love your neighbor.

France did not universally ban hijab. They have given the employers right to refuse hijab at workplaces. It's up to the employers to implement. If Muslims don't like it, don't work under that employer.

This is actually beneficial to many Muslims. What they do is that they travel to these Non-Muslim countries so they can practice things that are forbidden in their own countries - like gambling, drinking, fornicating, shopping, eating pork chops.....

He has answered this and is probably what hes known best for. Dr shabir ally believes a portion of Bukhari is inauthentic and we must not rely on it like the Quran and the Quran should always be put first.

The proofs are chain of narrations which maintain the life of narrators and how and why they were truthful. Hazrat bukhari has kept great care to preserve the authentic few thousand from more than one hundred thousand hadith. But for reading proofs, you need to know a bit about hadith sciences and reads the life of chain of narrators. Quran is first for sure, but hadith are necessary to complete the deen. Quran is complete without hadith but deen is not complete without hadith. And we can never know life of the prophet without hadith. Life of prophet is nothing but quran application and prophet's life is preserved in hadiths.

99.9% is authentic. But obviously as with anything except Quran, there can be narrations that are unauthentic. Some scholars have pointed this out and written books about some of the narrations that they believe to be problematic/inauthentic.

As salaamu alaykum, Yes obedience to the laws of the country are essential, this is established by Qur'an and sunna. However, if the country's law prevents a Muslim from practicing deen according to sunna, then he must not move or live there. Secondly is the case of these lockdowns, distancing masks etc. These are not to be obeyed or introduced into the masaajid as they are illegal innovations and do not have science backing them but rather political motives. As for following the law of the land, these recent rules and restrictions are unconstitutional in every country which they are being implemented, so they are illegal according to the country's own laws, therefore the Muslims, just as the non Muslim citizens there are under no compulsion to obey them. Hope this helps. May Allah guide and protect us all.

Just a footnote: " referring to God and His messenger. " Well, the prophet is not alive so referring to God is to to refer to Quran, in my humble opinion. After all we cannot trust all hadiths since there are at least over 300000 books of them!!!!! This last gift came from the genious minds of Bani Omaieh!! Assalamualaikum, Hazrat It needs to be cleared that in Islam, sovereignty belongs to Allah and no one else. Quran says obey to Allah and Muhammad pubh is practical authority on earth who practiced what Allah directed. If Muhammad pubh is not available, follow the ameerul momineen (present authority) Who like prophet after him carried out the same affairs of state as other prophets did. Though the question is about obeying the present unislamic government, it needs to make it clear that Islam is not a religion like other religions where individual worship is done but a collective style of living where Allah is worshipped as only sovereign authority through present Islamic governance in every sphere of life like economy, social, political and and external. Since nowhere this governance is available, just work hard to establish this style of governance. What's the benefit of going anywhere if same governance is available in various forms of idolatry. Sijda wahi hai laiqe ahtemam, jis sijde se ho tujh par saare sijde haram. Iss Se Barh Kar Aur Kya Fikar-o-Amal Ka Inqilaab Padshahon Ki Nahin, Allah Ki Hai Ye Zameen! (Allama Iqbal) Meaning... What greater revolution in thought and action will there be: Not to the crowned heads, but to God alone does this Earth belong!
