As a mother with young children don't ever feel guilty if not everything gets done, the season of life you are in right now with young lively children passes by so quickly, as long as the house is still standing the work will still be there when those littles are in school or have homes of their own!!! I appreciate you answering this question for me ❤ When I asked, I was struggling with the fact that a church member basically told me that I'm failing as a wife bcuz I don't force my husband to church. I love that you said surround yourself with Godly ppl!! I need that in my life. Today is our 16th anniversary & I've decided that, like Paul said to the Thessalonians, we need to encourage & love each other always & that's enough bcuz it's less stressful 😂 We have God with us, our children & our health so that's important ❤️ God bless y'all... Love when you share with us 💕

Amen. God bless you as you work through it all. Forcing your husband to go to church is not your responsibility. It would work against everything IMO. Because being a controlling woman is not what we are called to and it will repell our men. Paul talks about the wives winning over husbands by their kind conduct without saying a word. Sending hugs!

Im so sorry people have said that to you! My husband also didnt like attending church- I went alone with our girls for many years! He now attends with us most weeks. I never forced him or nagged him (as that is unbiblical)- I clung 1 Corth 7:14 and prayed. That’s all we can do! Stay strong and keep being the children if you have them!

@Organizedmeals Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I definitely feel like a failure sometimes bcuz I want my children to have their parents be good role models & set that example, but honestly, I don't think church is the only answer to everything. Yes, we fellowship, we go to church & we try to be good stewards of our family/ community, but we just haven't stayed on the path that others might think we should be on. I struggle so much with fitting in & this videos contents made me realize I overthink & expect too much from other sinners about wanting perfect. 💜

In the old days, youngsters learned in eight years what current students don’t even in 12 years. A GOOD foundation through 8th grade, followed by apprenticeship/technical skills would seek many students much better than today’s system. I was watching a British doctor recently who said that they go straight into medical education when finished high school, even if younger teens.

One word I will take from this post is that the path to Jesus is in the journey and that not all is revealed at the same time. I will take that to heart. I am catholic and not religious. I go to mass sometimes and get this feeling of being overwhelmed. I don’t know what I should be looking for or searching inside of me. I read the Bible and I need to find a book or a YT channel that helps me along to understand. Hugs from France.

Janeen can answer, of course, but your question struck a chord with me. Please don’t take this wrong - I write it kindly from an older woman’s experience. Evangelism has many arms. This family is not isolated from worldliness. They travel, shop, go on KZbin, interact with others regularly. Their Presence and Christ-like behavior alone is an evangelical tool, touching the hearts of many and giving reason to “outsiders” to contemplate their own walk/lifestyle. They probably “evangelize” more than most of us! 😊 imho

😀 I completely butchered the phrase and verse context. I think I need to go feed my brain some brain supplements and preplan my answers better. Thanks for the correction #mombrain Yes, I can understand your concern. The producer behind it isn't mormon, but the studios is. I still think there is much good that has come from the show. It's very touching. There have been a few times where I noticed some discrepancies... the main one being the pool of bethseda story, which concerned me. However I felt the message was scriptural and brought biblical stories to life. But I respect others view points if they prefer not to watch

Have faith like a little child. Children often use their imagination to fill in bits and pieces of a story. The Bible leaves some room for wonder (imagination), so in my humble opinion The Chosen could be viewed as healthy entertainment that fosters a better relationship/understanding of Biblical accounts. It shouldn't be a replacement for a relationship with Jesus but a tool to see how this could have possibly happened in real life, this isn't just a fairytale, view it more like a historical documentary of sorts.

She got a blood infection, because i missed seeing her one teats was swollen. It's ok if that's how you view it and wish to leave. I'm not offended. However, We poured 1000s of dollars into her medical care... late nights at the vet, running back and forth, doing everything we could to get her back. They were able to get on top of the infection but she still needed a not of care and a lot more $$$. And we didn't have insurance. I didn't have the medical knowledge to take care of her and one of the vets wanted her. I knew she would be in much better hands with a medical professional. The options were, keep paying 1000s when we had no insurance and little money, or let a professional adopt her and continue taking care of her. It was really hard, but that was the best option for the dog and us. Money isn't there when it isn't. And I'm not a vet. She needed quality care. So if you call that neglected and unloving, that's your choice. IMO, Unloving and neglected wouldn't invest 1000s just to give up a dog for adoption in the end. Many people take dogs to a shelter or leave them to die.
