I feel like if THAT many people are asking why you don’t post very much or why you post months old content your true fans are noticing an ongoing problem and aren’t happy with it. I hope you can find your motivation and hustle so you can better your life. Your content been on a steady decline even prior to Austin having health issues, so that may be the current reason for the lack of content, but there must be a bigger issue at hand, because it is an on going pattern. I would LOVE to see a “getting my life together” type series. Budgeting for school, applying, making extra cash, upgrading your health, therapy, etc. I think a lot of viewers would really connect with that kind of content, everyone loves a redemption story!

Exactly! There’s so many video ideas that don’t include spending money. A cleaning my house/room or decluttering is completely free. Scrapbook with me, organise xyz part of my life, budgeting etc.. all free content she can make that will bring her money without her having to spend. I feel like she justifies a lot of the crap she buys because her “viewers want to see it” when it’s not the case at all. So many of her subscribers are yearning for different videos and giving great suggestions and yet here we are. She’ll give a giant explanation for things no one cares about or like 2 people asked about, but ignores comments with hundreds of thumbs up with actual decent video suggestions like 😅 her viewers have def grown up and I think a lot of them outgrow her which is why so many are frustrated. She does things under the guise of “nostalgia” but fails to realise there’s so many avenues you can take with nostalgia that are newer or would entertain her viewers.

People will watch her clean, or declutter which is something she probably 1 - needs to do and 2 - kills 2 birds with one stone I feel like Sam makes it a “chore” to film and do things when in reality, she could take something as mundane as cleaning or do a clean with me, q&a while folding laundry, declutter, crafting/scrapbooking - all things she either needs/has to or loves to do that could be content for her. I feel like she burns herself out trying to think of “elaborate” ideas or “quirky” ones and doesn’t realise it can really just be that simple. She’s in a career where she can capitalise off of errands/household chores/life admin - how many people are lucky enough to be able to say they can do that? She’d stated she gets ready to do video suggestions and then just “doesn’t want to do it” I mean I don’t like mopping the floor but it’s gotta be done.. I find it extremely odd that she’s taken on some sort of almost sympathy illness by default/proxy because of Austin’s illness.. but Austin still goes to his full time job and she doesn’t do hers. I feel like this wouldn’t look great to potential sponsors either because they’d have deadlines and would want someone with at least some drive? It makes me so sad to see her fumble something like this so hard, when there’s smaller creators who work full time/have family’s and obligations and still manage to upload on time or consistently.

Sis, a lot of us have been watching for over a decade and a lot of people are commenting constructive criticism that seems to go unnoticed or unheard. Quality over quantity is preferred. If you feel you’ve done your best, then great! But I think a lot of viewers feel like you don’t pay attention to the positive suggestions and instead only address the “hate” comments. Furthermore, I’ve seen a lot of viewers express concern for your health. While your actions in your personal life are truly none of our business, there have been signs of concern and I think a lot of comments come from a caring place. It seems like all of the pink sparkles videos are of footage that is months old and they are just thrown together to say she made a videos. Student loans are a great tool for going back to school, especially as a mature student. Schooling in Canada is expensive (but nowhere as expensive as the States) but you'd just be paying for tuition and books, you own a home and are established. When I went back for my second round of schooling, I was automatically given grants for being a mature student as well. Re Austin's health: a loved one's health is always scary but it doesn't seem like Austin helps himself? He still drinks heavily and smokes. You can't be a codependent support and have him drag you down with him. You still need a life outside of this loved one and you don't have that anymore. I really suggest therapy for this topic but you need boundaries and self-care for yourself.

It’s a good suggestion for someone who can’t afford the traditional school route and needs to start their career sooner than in four years. It also seems like a 9-5 would be extremely difficult for her to maintain. The only concern is she’d have to gain some confidence and self-esteem to deal with clients not liking your work. She’d also have to hustle and perfect her craft, also update her methods to keep up with the newest trends. She’s struggled with that when it comes to her KZbin and still using an editing system from like 2006.

But, Samantha, I think it might be really beneficial for you to take a step back and reevaluate what YOU are wanting for your channel/online presence. Maybe take a few months off. This channel is supposed to be your safe space and where you express yourself creatively. The difference I see in you watching this video versus past video is night and day. There is so much hate on these videos. Sam I’ve been a subscriber since I was 13/14 (now 25). Life changes and gets off track simply by existing. As long as you know you are doing the best you can each day then you’re doing good. I recall her saying something about wanting to go into healthcare, being a physicians assistant or something of the sort. With that being said, a trade would be a good option, but unfortunately when she was younger and going to school she would look down on those who were in trades and thought it was much more worthy to be in “university”. Now she’s in her mid 30s without an education or career and would’ve been far more ahead if she had gone to trade school/college in the first place. It’s definitely a really solid path and I hope she doesn’t dismiss it so quickly this time.

Don’t feel too bad though, she used to brag about how she doesn’t even look at price tags when she goes shopping. It definitely went to her head and she assumed her “fame” would last forever. Anyone with common sense would save and invest and make sure we have future career aspirations. She chose to spend recklessly for YEARS including 10s of thousands of dollars on pointless plastic surgery, thousands on takeout, hotel stays within her city, cheap fast fashion clothes she never wore… etc. these were all conscious choices made by an adult, and she wouldn’t have been In This position had she taken her KZbin serious and remained dedicated to it. She’s declined significantly in effort and consistency since 2020. It’s really a shame, KZbin created endless opportunities for those who seize it.
