What I love about you is the enthusiasm and joy that you express when listening to great music. Add to that your vast technical knowledge and your ability to make it understandable to us mere mortals. 👍🏻

Watching you reminds me of me when I react to music. I can tell that you receive that same feeling down your back and through your body that I do when something musical just...hits. I know exactly what that is and it's something truly incredible.

I love how enthusiastic you get about beautiful moments in songs you react to. The giddyness is infectious and it's so lovely to see how you're basically "just a nerd". Now don't take it the wrong way, when I say "just a nerd" I say that as a positive thing. Your passion is so upfront in your videos yet you also give a brilliant insight in what's happening in the songs. Some of the songs I already knew you managed to point out things that I had missed over literal hundres of times listening. But hey, occupational hazard as a bassguitar player. I listen to different things. So please, keep being that adorable "nerd" that brightens our days with your smile and enthusiasm while also teaching us old things about new music and new things about old music.

"....and Elizabeth's KZbin channel attracted many admiring comments. A lot of them in Cyrillic, but Elizabeth thought 'well the emoji's look positive so it's all good' . As she progressed she wondered if she should declare her abiding passion for Mixed Martial Arts and how she had combined them for a recital of Werner Von Volemuffler's 'Headlock & Throwdown Aria in A Minor'. But didn't. ". Congrats on 50K and, if I were the sort to wear hats, I'd tip mine to Kirk. Well played sir.

KZbin is a bit like a gold bearing river, it´s mainly sand and pebbles. But amongst the sand you sometimes find a grain of gold that will brighten your day. And rarely you find a nugget, a real shiny nugget that will enrich your life and those around you. Your personality, enthusiasm for what you love and know so much about, and your willingness to share that with the rest of us is such a nugget! You are a delightfull person to watch and listen to, your explanations on the what´s and how´s of singing are passionate and inspireing, and last but nor the least, you have an awesome voice yourself! I hope that you will have the energy to keep on going for a long time yet, and that the booring, stupid internet-trolls don´t get to you! Be yourself and have faith in those who love what you are doing, they will be faithfull to you!

Wonderful, thank you for sharing! And what a great personality to have such accolades and yet be so modest about it even to be hesatant to speak about it. (Side note: Another "voice teacher" on YT litteraly braggs about taking - a - course so she's now a "certified voice teacher") All the while wanting to focus on spreading the word about singing to us regular vocal peasants. Very admirable! I think i will put my trust here from now on. The force is strong in this one :)

I only subscribe to 2 Voice Coach/Reactors, your channel being one of the two. I've found that most of the Singer/Coach reactors either don't know what they are talking about, can't sing worth a hoot, or its all about them and not the magic they are listening too. You have always proven your knowledge, abilities, without showing off (I think the Mouse costume came closest LOL). Congratulations on your wedding and look forward to more insight from someone who knows what they are talking about.

Congratulations on getting to 50+K on your KZbin channel . As one of the older members of the Nightwish Army i love the way you have taken to the music they produce , the analysis equations going on in your mind can be seen in the expressions on your face . I love it when you hear something you were not expecting played or sang , the way you react is great . As a viewer we see it first in your eyes we see the question did they just play that that way then you inform us why , then we think i never hear it that way before but yes i see now why they do it that way . As a Floor Jansen Fan it was wonderful to watch your surprise then your dissection of her technique . I hope you will do more on Floor Jansen and not just her with Nightwish there is so much more to her . All the best for you and your KZbin channel from the UK keep up the good work I will keep watching .

I am glad that you have found love, happiness, and your true calling in life. I do listen to other reactors but I know that I can take your reactions seriously (I mean that as a great compliment), with more wisdom and backbone. It is so much fun to nerd out with these reactions, especially when an artist (such as Dimash, for example) does something to catch you off guard. Your content not only provides knowledge but it also offers wonderful entertainment. I'm happy to join you and the other subscribers on your KZbin journey. Floor commented on a question posed to her regarding reactions to her work. Did she listen to them? Floor said she did not because they were too simplistic.Talking about head voice versus chest voice for example. She wanted a more technical discussion not only regarding the artist but possibly the composition of the song as well. I hope that I’ve conveyed accurately what Floor said, it’s I remember. I love your reactions and your new found appreciation of Floor and symphonic metal.

Awesome, well done! (And why didn't I think of getting married on February 29th? If I had, I would only have gotten in trouble for forgetting our anniversary every four years instead of every year!) My wife also grew up in Washington state on a small family farm with 40 acres of cherries and apples, so a lot of our visits there in the early years of our life involved the fruit harvest. No wonder you seem so well-grounded - you are!

You caught me with your analysis of Ronnie James Dio which I happened upon somehow one day. Then as I ventured backwards through KZbin time to watch videos from the past I came upon this "My Journey" video. I laughed out loud at the format and your delivery because it immediately reminded me of an old friend and colleague named Susan Boyer who was a music educator in my school but also trained vocalists privately. Some of her students went on to great careers on stage. But, she, like you had an amazing flair for being a dynamic presenter. And, had she been asked to tell about "Her Journey" I'm certain she would have chosen this same creative method of doing so. Thank for the wonderful videos and the memory of my colleague! Rock On!!

Your story impressed me, both by what you said and by what I am convinced that you passed silently with delicacy, because not everything has to be said. I just listened to your storybook video after enjoying so many of your reaction and interview videos. For being so enlightened I thank you. I have a sliver of knowledge regarding the voice or I should say enough to know the physical skills and training involved with creating sound. I personally appreciate opera for it’s skill but not necessarily a follower. I have always searched for people who can appreciate all music even if it’s not the music of choice for them. The time you take to create material that is so educational and enjoyable is beyond appreciation. To have a better understanding of how artists such as Peter Hollens, Penatonix, and others non a cappella artist, the music they do is so helpful. To understand phrasing, placement, layering, and throat skills used makes me appreciate the content produced so much more. To know the music moves me is actually enough but to be able to express my thoughts of the true effort used to the artist is splendid. For all you share and your willingness to apply your knowledge to so many forms of music I Thank you. The only issue I have is I can’t stop listening. I have lost so much sleep because I can’t never stop at 1 reaction! You are worse than a potato chip!

Dearest Elizabeth, Kirk is the luckiest man alive (i'm soooo jealous lol), but seriously, thank-you for who you are. You are the epitome of what all young women should strive to become, intelligence, grace, charm and of course a dash of nerdiness, the full package. BIG hugz from me ;-)

I am from Olympia, WA. My mother was a singer at the Darmstadt Opera House after WW II. My dad was also from Germany but was in the U.S. army. She said once she was Coloratura soprano. I miss them both. I like all your videos. Thanks, John in Oly, WA.

Ah ..... another KZbin channel: "Bedtime stories with Elizabeth"! Interesting story. I found a KZbin video of you performing Verdi songs, and enjoyed it immensely. I'll be looking for more!

Looking forward to hearing you sing, as well as more reactions and analyses! Hoping to some day see Susanne Sundfør (perhaps Day of the Titans or one of her live performances)checked out by a proper vocal expert.. Also hoping for more Devin ;)

Loved hearing your story! I like your reactions because you pick up on a lot of things that others miss. I find it so interesting to listen to you point out thing I never really noticed in a song. I've watched several of your other reactions, but I'm mainly here for Dimash reactions!!

I know it's Storytime, but it's still funny hearing Elizabeth talk in the third person!! From someone born and raised in Oberlin, it's nice to hear the Conservatory mentioned!! 😁

I've told my musical people about The Charismatic Voice and all of us are fanatical fans! We love it! (And the host is perhaps the best singer ever. Has she ever played Christine in Phantom Of The Opera?)

Although I'm not a singer or musician, I appreciate your (outstanding) expertise and did learn many new things from you. Your beginner videos about the different opera ranges were very interesting. Thank you. My question: Is there some kind of discography of all your songs you did for video games? I wonder how many I knew before.
@TheCharismaticVoice4 жыл бұрын
A lot of the songs I made for video games were for smaller indie projects, but I did sing in some larger projects recently (Yoku's Island Express, Elsinore, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, plus some current NDA's). Unfortunately I don't think I have playlist of all of these, but do check out The Materia Collective on spotify and search under my name for a long list of COVER MUSIC from video games (both composed, and sung).

What a wonderful video! I guarantee you it won't take you too long to hit 100k and then 500k :) You are so professional and charismatic on camera and create quality content and that's really all it takes to break through on KZbin :)
