It's like DAI, where the middle response was vaguely humourous at most, or it's more similar to Purple Hawke (no shame, straight up funny, sometimes brutal)? Somewhere in the middle?

Someone leaked it on reddit. There are only 4 choices - your relationship with Solas, who drank from the Well, who is Divine, was the Inquisition disbanded. That's literally it.

You can totally be an evil a-hole in DA2. You can feed a guy to a demon for a stat boost. You can exacerbate both the Qunari Conflict and the Mage-Templar War for power and monetary gain. You can support a terrorist and also support the genocide that follows said terrorist's bombing of a church. I dare say that a good chunk of the game is murdering people for coin. It's a good thing that Hawke has Varric as a PR agent, otherwise all the murder and blood sacrifice might negatively affect their reputation.

- where did red lyrium go? I see “blight masses” everywhere, but no mention of red lyrium. -will leliana or Cullen return? I love morrigan, but leliana has been there since the beginning too. Even Cullen. -did the devs give a reason for this particular art style for characters? Or was it left over from when the game was live service? -the devs previously stated, I believe, that the reason they removed the ability to control companions because few actually used it. Did anyone ask them why they lowered the amount to 2 followers at a time? Or why they reduced the abilities to 3 actives? - do we ever go to southern thedas? -lastly, I know the inquisitor makes a return but what about hawke (if they survive adamant)? Hawke states going to weisshapt to warn the wardens of corypheus. Or what about the hero of ferelden?

The options in a demo like this aren't always everything that will be in the final game. IGN no doubt got a chance to ask questions or find out about this stuff through their early previews.

From what I've read, you select important choices from previous games, which sounds a bit like Genesis from Mass Effect.

It's kinda like the one in mass effect meets the keep, you get tarrot cards which summerize the past games and let's you pick your choices that way

(I'd assume background, since they've focused so much on the factions, but i wonder if being a mage, etc will be as relevant as in previous games?)

Hi!! Definitely background/faction, though there are mage-specific options here and there. It doesn't matter too much what class you are.

Is it possible to make a Qunari not have a big forehead? I feel like the texture of the horns gives that impression and the hair is right behind the horns, which doesn't help cover the forehead.

Yes! Thankfully! She put out a Qunari character creator video, and you can adjust the forehead size and some of the hairs come forward between the horns and cover parts of the forehead. It's still not as good as how they looked in DAI, in my opinion, but it's better than some of what we've seen in the previews up til now.

@@cavernsofdarkness I saw it, thanks! Yes, in Dragon Age Inquisition, despite the lack of hair for the Qunaris, I managed to make some very beautiful ones. I wish it was possible to make some more similar to the Qunaris from Dragon Age 2, like Arishok or more similar to Ironbull...

I would a video on BioWare’s philosophy regarding evil options. My own philosophy tends to be more player choice and agency in RPGs is better, which I get the impression is diverges from BW, so hearing their thought process would be really cool.

Finally also some UI with keyboard hotkeys. First thing to say, i'm really disappointed to see that the position of the icons is the same as controller UI. For M&K it would have been better to have all icons aligned. Second: i have some questions: why only 1 and 3 (and R and X) are visible? why no hotkey on the ultimate or the one below the "1" (the secondary mage attack i suppose). Third: is it possible to disable all projectiles tracking graphic and also the hokey+text appearing on items/characters we can intereact with?

Abilities aside, how valuable are companions in combat? Do/can they deal a decent amount of damage or is the onus on the player to do the heavy lifting in terms of damage and killing enemies?

Depends on which one. Some have huge heals, others strong crowd control/debuffs, and also damage dealing.

@ElMarcoHoJ Fair enough that's about where I am to but after some of the stuff that dropped today leaning towards buying it. Ashe, Kala, jade especially gave a lot of information and positive feedback and things look a lot better then when stuff first came out The blend of styles are instresting and will take some getting used to. I wouldn't recommend going to Asmongold's page he's something else and that place is toxic as hell and negative as hell plus if you show any positivity they attack

Do you know if the holy trinity comes into play in this game, like how well does Davrin hold agro automatically vs input through the radial menu. Just curious as I like mage combat but don’t like just sitting there taking punches or having to evade constantly because I have agro.

Ashe please, Can you deliver this Question to any of the devs? Question: The gameplay of this whole franchise supposed to be Tactical which means controlling & issue orders to the whole party members. What we experienced so far, Players only controlling the protagonist & rarely using the tactical options like the radial menu or tactical setting. Did you make DATV solo ( control only the protagonist & can't control companions) because players already ONLY controlling the hero they created?

idk, combat looks all style no substance from where im sitting. very flashy, a bit floaty. personally i thought inquisitions combat was really good, and didn't need much improving. not thrilled about this arcadey overly flashy direction. alot of the design choices ive seen have left me far more cautious about this one than any other. i mean qunari just look... weird to me. i was okayish with the more humany look in inquisition, but they look uncanny valley now to me. not to mention plot worries, the stakes seem almost too high, talk about power creep, was really hoping for a more personal story like da2 this time. i mean im an andromeda apologist who unironically loved it. if even im on the fence now, that says something. this will be the first bioware title since kotor i wont be playing day one, and will be waiting to let others risk it first. i really really hope my caution is unwarranted and its actually great... but idk man... too many red flags right now.

@@exessen1684 access journalism plagues the industry, and many people even typically hostile ones will give positive or lean positive in order to keep getting early access or to keep getting gifts from the dev companies. i had thought that was common knowledge by now. thats why i dont listen to reviewers period and base purchases off of live gameplay from unaffiliated streamers after release. basically im not buying until i see some vtuber on twitch play like 20 hours of the game, and i can thus see the game for myself.
