You'd be surprised with how well cats adjust. My Bronson was NOT a people person and as a matter of fact he would bolt out of the room anytime anyone new would come over. That being said, once Quinn figured out that he existed she wouldn't leave him alone and now they are the best of buds. He's also become quite the social kitty now, too. He has never gotten feisty with her and she carries him around the house like a rag doll. It's quite the sight but he adores her now. I was so worried he'd scratch at them since he didn't tolerate people very much but it has never happened and she's not all that gentle with him. Sending love!

I'm so excited and hopeful for your upcoming transfer. It seems counterintuitive but I just read an article that stated transferring two doesn't improve your chances. The theory as I understand it is that a healthy embryo could be rejected along with the unhealthy one.

Thank you! Yes, I think it's becoming more & more common for professionals to just recommend transferring one at a time, depending on the individual case of course. Multiple transfers are definitely becoming less common

You have a very sensible approach to it all. It is the approach that hubby and I had. We were determined to not put our lives on hold when we were ttc, kept us good and strong. Made it so that we got through the fact of remaining childless. That approach and attitude will take you far xx

I've done IVF twice , the first time was a frozen transfer and we transferred both of our (only) two embryos. They both took but lost one at 8-9 weeks. We went on to have a healthy baby girl. Two years later we did IVF again (different doctor) and did a fresh transfer (two) , both took and lost one at 18 weeks due to trisomy 18 (genetic abnormality) both were girls, went on to have another healthy baby girl. I so wish I could be there to give you a big hug!!! I wish you the best and I can't wait for more updates! 😊🙏💗

Hi Celeste. Blessings to you both on your journey. Thank you for the courage you've shown and shared, rising like a Phoenix again and again, and being a light and hope for others. You've lived up to the meaning of your celestial name. There's a saying that if one light shines in the darkness, those nearby will reflect the light. Perhaps that's why you are being allowed to experience these hardships - so you can offer hope to the world. I've had more than my share of hardships in this life, so when I see somebody shining, I try to encourage them. I too battle anxiety. I used to be Pre-Pharmacy here in the USA, but the more I learned about some medications the less I felt I could morally give them to people if it meant supporting Big Pharma and our currently VERY broken medical system here. A few thoughts about your video: you mention prednisone dosing. Dosing is almost always done by body mass, so please don't let your anxiety to tell you you're not on a proper dose if you hear from someone who is on a higher one. You and I would be on drastically different doses of most medications, not only bc I'm tall and curvy, but bc I've had stomach surgery that necessitates my doses being different. If I'm on an elephant's dose worth of meds, that doesn't make that amount right for you. Besides, steroids can be NASTY to the system. They (and pregnancy) affect the immune system. 80% of germs get into the body through the face, so please be mindful of touching your face while on them or while pregnant. Speaking of your face, your makeup is gorgeous. Before the prednisone you may want to quickly sanitize your brushes and sponges with rubbing alcohol and throw out any old tubes >3-6 mo old. The skin is our largest organ and we women often don't realize the reason waterproof mascara smells like tar is bc it's made from petroleum unless we use mineral- based products. There are lines of makeup and even nail polish that are listed as being safe for pregnancy. Scary contemplating that a compound used to make things more pliable can mutate hormones, especially in babies. You mentioned you have the MTHFR gene. This actually is linked to miscarriage. All prenatal vitamins include folate to prevent birth defects. The MTHFR gene interferes with folate processing. I buy Methyl-Guard methylated folate on Amazon and I LOVE it. It's fantastic for energy, even without the alerted gene. It may be able to help your body sustain a healthy pregnancy. If you're not transferring the embryo till August, you'd have time to buy some and have your folate blood levels checked to make sure they're within normal ranges. Excess vitamins can be just as damaging as deficiency. I hope you didn't mind me rambling, I just had some insights I thought might be helpful. You're doing an awesome job keeping your spirits up! Thank you for your lovely words- so very kind of you! :) The people I've spoken to about their dose of prednisone have had a similar BMI to me, which has made me wonder whether I should be on a slightly higher dose. 20mg is still quite a small amount, so I figure there's no harm in asking my FS about it- I'd rather take a little extra than not enough, which could potentially result in another loss. I've been on prednisone before, prior to transfers that haven't gone ahead, but I appreciate your advice. I do try to use natural beauty products where possible, & steer clear of waterproof mascara. I also haven't used nail polish for almost a year now. The MTHFR gene mutation I have is A1298C, which isn't actually linked to miscarriage- it's the C677T mutation that has most studies linking it to miscarriage. When I found out I had the mutation a few months ago, I stopped taking the prenatal vitamin I was on as it contained folic acid. Not sure if this is the case in the US, but in Australia it's quite rare to find a prenatal/vitamin that doesn't contain the synthetic folic acid. The prenatal I started taking a few months back contains 5-MTHF, active folate, & the exact quantity I need. Trust me- I'm a researcher, so I'm all over it & making sure I'm taking what I need to take & nothing more or less! lol Thanks very much for your kind blessings & baby dust

Oh, my word Cooper is so cute. That blanket is like his 'dummy'. My inlaws have a Tuxedo kitty and his personality is just like that. I take care of him when they are away and I want to steal him. I hear others that have Tuxedo cats say the same about their personality, which is strange because they aren't a breed just a color.

You talked about Clexane. A friend of mine had three misscariges. They found out the blood in her uterus produces micro trombosises. With the fourth she used Clexane from the day of testing positiv. She has two healthy boys now.

Cooper is so Precious. My cat looks almost the same and does the same as your when you said he follows you around. My cat follows me everywhere, even into the Bathroom. He is my fur baby. I just also want to say I pray for you and Tim every night. I do have a 9 yr. old Daughter. But 6 yrs. ago I was 6 months and had a stillbirth. That sucked. After that I had the IUD for 5 yrs. My Husband and I having been trying for a year now. I'm uncertain but back in November I had a very very faint Positive Line, then about 5 days later I started bleeding. Lasted 10 days. I was also a week An half late. I think they call that a Chemical Pregnancy. But that was rough just as well. It sucks seeing other people pregnant, my sister in law is Pregnant with her second child, and my cousin just had her baby last night. Totally puts me in baby fever mode. Driving me nuts. But I am happy for them. I just pray that one day I'll have my rainbow baby. I love your videos. Thank you for being so open. Stay Positive Celeste.
