Omg We just pcsed from Arkansas to Mississippi and over 50% of our home goods are broken and damaged 😢 I’m devastated. Over 20 years in the military and never experienced anything like this. How did your claim go? Did they low ball you? We get our main truck delivered tomorrow and I’m not looking forward to it because seeing our overflow tgat was delivered last week and everything broken I’m scared to death and we have all antique furniture 😢😩

We paid a $350 cleaning company to do our move out clean WHO was a spouse herself!! And they house still charged us for a cleaning fee 😡😡

My husband has not been in the military for a long time my ex-husband but when we moved several times the army's good it's screwing you over the military I should say not just the army they try everything not to dish out money to where you have to do it and the reimbursements always take forever don't matter what branch of military you're in but at least you made it safely and everything's okay now I hope and I'm hoping you are getting better and and everything and those covid tests I have home testings I did those instead of going to the doctor's office and you got to pay for the visit so but I'm glad you all made it safely and everything sorry about the hotels kicking you out because of the pets they're good at that so I'm glad everything's okay I hope allergy is okay did you two looking a little better I hope so stay safe be careful lots of love and hugs to you and your family and enjoy San Antonio it's so beautiful there I'm here in Texas too so my sister lives in San Antonio but it's beautiful there especially the Riverwalk so lots of love and hugs to you and your family and stay safe be careful and catch you on your next video 💜💜🙏🙏🤠🤠😇😇😇 every time it's a rush job stuff gets damaged it took them forever to pay back the money that all the stuff to get damaged and they don't give you the full value they never do and the way they moved your stuff a lot of stuff probably got damaged and that's not a good thing I'm so sorry y'all had a bad experience cuz I don't know how it is today a lot of moving companies take advantage of the military when they move from people move because a lot of stuff gets lost or damaged really bad been there done that quite a few times many years ago sounds like it's getting worse instead of better 🙏🙏🤠🤠😇😇💜💜 sorry I keep adding things next time you move and use military movies take pictures of every little thing that you own and write down everything you have that's valuable or the kids toys everything it's a lot easier I've had a lot of experience of that my dad was in the military and he told me right down everything take pictures and everything of everything that they pack and move sorry because I'm so sorry this is happening to you guys cuz I've been there a long time back in the late '80s early 90s

Love Laquinta because they guarantee take dogs. Just don't in Texas it sounds like. What was the extra charge for? Not sure how they can kick you out legally unless your dog was barking. We got Covid a week before we had to move. Would have been screwed if it was a week later.

I’m not sure if they’re legally allowed to also….but we were too sick to fight it 😅 the dogs weren’t barking!! They also never mentioned that as a concern on the phone to Ben. It was weird 💀

Yes our washer!! That wasn’t even the worst bc the whole drum was resting on the ground but it’s hard to take pictures of a washing machine 😅

I think he meant we didn’t have a frame for our mattress to sleep on - that was destroyed & missing parts. Our mattress itself is dirty but still usable.

How traumatizing. I feel for you guys. We had something very similar happen to us when the military moved us from Georgia to Missouri. All of our HHG were moved from a truck into crates in storage and when our HHG were dropped off everything was damaged. They literally had our couch tied to a trailer hitched up to the truck with nothing on it to protect it. We will always do a DITY move from now on even with very small children

OH MY GOSH! Your couch?! That’s insane!!! I’m so sorry 😭 never ever ever ever will I do a military move again. I’m so with you, DITY all the way. I’ll pay personal friends/family if I need to for the help 😂 this is such a nightmare. I hope y’all got what you deserved in compensation! 🫶🏻

The military housing (mayroad) at our af base is the same way. When we moved in there were visible pee stains on the carpet, and dog hair cakes in the paint and between the carpet and walls where it was stapled in. When we called to let them know they blamed us for it, but we don’t have any pets 😅. After that, our vinyl floor boards in our living area starting popping up and they said they wouldn’t fix it till we moved out. I could go on and on about ways military housing has screwed us over. The move out fees are my biggest fear 😳
