3" deadlift, yay or nay? and what is a good ratio deficit vs regular deadlift?

Started weightlifting roughly a 1.5 years ago and I really have trouble forcing myself to take a break from dedicated weightlifting programming for any significant amount of time as I worry about losing the little skill I have been grinding away to develop. What advice do you typically give lifters with these apprehensions?

Honest question, what are the differences that explain why someone like Gabriel Sincrain currently is not squatting as high as Eoin and vice versa for snatch besides the oversimplified answer of not training a certain lift more? Is it the additional muscles/strength in certain places?

Obviously for those who don't use it regularly they shouldn't do it with any expectations of being active or mentally aware. But for the daily user, weed exposes people in similar yet different ways than alcohol. Plenty of people aren't lazy using weed. Maybe consider that if you're going to use any substance. Forget what others are doing, what about this is showing me about myself.
