24:53 I think there are so many misconceptions and so much simplification around the introvert/extrovert classifications. I am extremely introverted in the sense that I get exhausted if I’m around other people for long periods of times. When I am around people I’m very social and talkative, and I do enjoy spending time with friends and family. But I get wrung out, like all that interaction depletes my battery and I have to recharge for a long time after. And it’s hard because people can sometimes take that as I don’t like spending time with them, which can lead to them not reaching out as much. Introvert is not asocial (let alone antisocial!) is what I’m trying to say.

Cats are so chill and they are also introverts so don't need/want attention all the time. But obviously with Ryan's allergy, it's a good idea to avoid a cat. As for the room, my guess it is going to either be a gaming room or a reading/relaxation room. You are lucky with your nails. I do mine every second day and always use base coat but they are so ugly and yellow. But if I wear a sheer jelly colour, it can give a cool affect 😅 Also sushi, you ordered the right amount. So glad to hear that you’re feeling better. This PSA may make you feel even better. I had been in banking for 25+ years before retiring to have my family. The bank does not own your home. One of the things i like about vlogs is they usually show the highs and lows (at least some). I think its more interesting/helpful to see the real life vs the curated. There is a time and a place for curated, but its nice when it isnt all thats seen.

It's so hard when the internet is full of these curated experiences that seem so perfect and happy, it might sound bad but it's refreshing in a sense to know that not everyone is happy and successful and healthy all the time, and that we aren't failures if our lives aren't perfect.

I started listening to Emily Henry's "Book Lovers" after you said you liked her. I LOVE IT. As a former editor, it's perfect. I've always loved witty dialogue-heavy books. Thanks! Fourth Wing was totally a mashup. I stayed with it to see how the romance turned out. I treated it like a sci-fi action flick where they likely could not really land on an asteroid that way to save the world. Fluffy fun. The second nail polish quote is from "The Boys," which I have not watched yet. If people join Cadillacquer Squad, Madeleine (the maker) explains all the names. She pulled inspiration from all sorts of things, so I cannot guess them. I love cats. So allergic. I have fur nephews that I try to convince I'm the fun aunt who plays but doesn't cuddle. Cuddles make my eyes itchy and red. If it matters, my perception of you is that you are overall a positive person. I appreciate your openness about mental health struggles because you could project a "perfect" image.

Also, if you wanna read romances without pregnancy plotlines, Queer romance is where it's at! "This Is How You Lose The Time War" is an enemies to lovers story that's been really well received. It has a more prose style of writing but that could be what you're looking for

I’m cracking up, because my partner loves the pumpkin cream cold brew from Starbucks. 😅 I think it totally makes sense to want people to feel like they know and like you. (I honestly feel like I know and like you, and a lot of what you say about your personal life resonates with me.) Being introverted, having a KZbin community, and using it as an outlet, I would think that you’d want to feel like a complete person online. highly recommend T Kingfisher's* books to anyone who hasn't checked them out already and wants to read fantasy romance with characters who don't want kids! she has Swordheart which is a standalone and the Saint of Steel series (the fourth book of which just came out) which are related but center on different characters. all of the main characters are in their 30s+ and there is specific discussion about preventing pregnancy/not wanting children *aka Ursula Vernon, under her real name she writes books for kids which are also great

Kelli --I have to thank you because I had a big exam this week that I was stressing over, and it was watching your videos during study breaks that got me through! (It was pass/fail, and I PASSED!) My first question is - does living in LV make it easier for avoiding frizzy hair? I have curly hair also, and was always curious if the drier air helps. Re: coffee, personally I am not a fan of Hazelnut coffee because it was the first flavored coffee I remember back in the 70s when it started to become a "thing", and I just got SO SICK of it that I was done with hazelnut by the 90s. Same with Pumpkin Spice because I've been so inundated for the last 20 years with it. I like blueberry coffee these days, or southern pecan. ❤

I bet you just didn't like the particular brand of hazelnut flavoring that Dunkin uses. I will occasionally get a metallic-like unpleasant flavor associated with certain sweeteners, perhaps this is the blood-like flavor you experienced 🤔

Hahaha I truly cannot bring myself to read the second one, it was hard enough to get through the first. I truly believe the book was originally meant to be a middle grade novel but the editor/publisher insisted that she add cursing and sex scenes to make it new adult & bring more popularity lol.
