Cannot believe your Brasilia score! Way to go! We found a Brasilia bar cart on the curb in our old neighborhood while walking the dog and carried it home. We added shelves to the center cabinet and use it as an entertainment center. Just enough space to hide all of our devices! I also wanted to be an archaeologist as a kid and was obsessed with ancient Egypt. My dad was a college history professor when I was growing up. He took me along on class museum trips and supplied me with text books to page through. I never pursued that passion but I still have a fascination for ancient Egyptian art and am starting to bring that influence into my jewelry designing.

We are also putting a flat screen TV inside of a 1950's cabinet. WE TRIED to get our other 50's TV repaired with all original working parts, but yeah, that's SO much harder than people think. I'm part of a vintage TV group, and they just come unglued if you tell them that you've gutted out a vintage TV. It's like look dude, you come to my house and fix mine, then we can talk! smh!

I watched a couple of your videos already (I'm new a new subscriber) and commented on how much we have in common. Watching this video we have two more things in common...one of my favorite colors is turquoise, and as a little girl I always wanted to be a mermaid. I too like some of the music you like but not much into modern music. About as modern as I get is the 1980's New Wave. The majority of music I listen to is 1940s big band music with is my favorite. When I was young I had natural red hair. I still have the fair skin of a redhead, but now that I'm older, my hair is completely snowy white. I also have brown eyes like you.

That movie, SHAG and The Outsiders will always hold very special places in my heart. I gotta add Nat King Cole to music list. What a voice. I enjoyed this very much. What a major score on the furniture. Wooza! I used to work at museum and library in my hometo. The Fine Art, Natural History, Pioneer Valley Historical Museum and The Science Museums. We had a dedicated plot of land in my hometown where all through museums were located on the greens at the Quadrangle. It was so cool. Very special place to work. I wish I had never been so anxious to leave home.

i also have a few 1950's era furniture...and sitting on my 1950's coffee table is a working 1955 zenith trans oceanic wave magnet radio ...i just found your channel...do you have any videos showing your vintage furniture around you're house??..do you own a 50's era car??,,,i just love you're kitchen ...my buddy just bought an older built garage and the walls are typical 1950's green..i tell him i bet this place hasnt seen a coat of pant since 1959 ...i'm gunna sub cuzz i think you and you're lifestyle are cool
