i quit my job 6 years ago, and moved to a smaller town on the coast. I work as freelancer for a while, have more time to do what I love: writing and reading, and I completed my education and get certified in NLP. I've never been happier and peaceful in my whole life, and I learned to enjoy and appreciate my own company. sometimes we need to be "self-centred" as you said, to find our peace of mind. Enjoy your life :-)
Thank you for this video. It has moved me so much. Im at the stage of my life where I needed to remind myself to breath and remind myself of what is my purpose in all my hard work. I respect how you have accepted the idea of being alone. i love how you have responded to the questions relating to being alone - gracefulness on how you have enjoyed it, humor on those sensitive areas and humility on sad part of it. What you have a priceless and you made the right decision.
I'm glad you took the steps you needed to create a space and place for your well being. I pray many more Japaneses have the same courage and opportunity as you, so they don't have to endure the horrendous working environment anymore. Thank you for sharing and I hope you good healthy. Btw, I really enjoy watching your videos. Since I can't travel to Japan anymore due to the pandemic I'm glad I found your channel. Ganbatte ne!

I aspire to have a life like this one someday, although I’m just in my early twenties. Yours is the life I dream of. Good luck to you sir 🌻🤍
When I was 29 (your age I guess), I just wanted to travel, discover the world, take cargo to China or Africa (from France), live adventures, but certainly not having a confortable house like yours. I am 55 now, and I never had a house of mine. And dont really miss it. Your videos are peacefull and I like them. It helps me to recover from Covid. Thanks !
Thank you for sharing with us this beautiful and soothing video. Where you are living is truly beautiful, it is what I would like to live in as well - close to the sea and also river and mountain.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful life. You have worked hard and you are living a life. Your life. I love camping and thank you for introducing that lovely couple who have made it their world. You are not selfish in my eyes. You live a thoughtful life. Thank you.
Hi.. I'm one of your subscribers. Your style of life is very interesting.. Seems it is a trend in Japan where more and more people especially youths are coming back to villages which is a good thing, I suppose. To be at your own pace and not in the rat race. I hope you are always healthy mind, body, and soul. PS: I laughed when you didn't say your age instead just pointed out that your body is not used to be..😄 I'm guessing you are mid- 40ties. Anyway, have a wonderful day, Sir.
Good thing you could finally get rid of that exhausting job! Have a lovely Sunday 🌄

Recently had to isolate for 10 days as I had Covid. Your videos kept me sane. Love your channel! Great insight into life in Japan. I also love fishing and camping so particularly enjoy those elements in your videos. Keep em coming! Wishing you well from Wales 🏴
