Eric, I'm from the south west part of the USA. Here it's a dry arid desert but we have mountains to drive to and there are riparian areas that are also very nice to visit. The desert has its own type of solitude! So do the mountains and the riparian areas and each one with its own type of sounds and animals and birds but it's very different from your cold environment and I wonder what is it like to bundle up and go camping in such cold temperatures makes me curious. I suppose we each are adjusted to our areas. I hope your areas always support the peace you need for heart and soul. Oh, you did great on Q and A. Nice to have a better image of the man in the videos 👍😊

That's a nice idea, it's like finding your you-tube tribe, while keeping your silent solitude. There seems to be a growing tribe of solo outdoor souls, people who do it and people who follow because they can't do it, but part of the tribe anyway. It's important for the peace of mind, doing and watching, we are all retrieving our sanity in a world gone crazy. Nature is our home, our family, our healer. Thanks Erik.

Hi Erik, I recently found your channel and am slowly consuming it. I love the silence and natural sounds. Although it is pleasant to listen to your thoughts when you speak, it is wonderful that you speak less frequently while taking the time to show and allow me to be there. I’m going to start dropping links to your channel in every forum and post on all the backcountry hunting and camping media I watch. With good fortune you’ll find enough income as a KZbinr to sustain your work. Thanks again.

Can really relate to what you´re saying about doing stuff alone. When filming alot of interruptions is unavoidable, and I feel for the respect of the others...don´t get maybe the best or most amount of it. When filming projects, I always go alone. I so agree with everything you are doing out in nature. I have hiked with others that never stop talking.....can be very irritating. I want to be silent and hear my footsteps in the Squeaky snow, or hear the silence during a new falling snow, avalanches off in a distance, leaves crunching, twigs breaking underfoot, wind blowing through the trees, birds chirping, squirrels scurrying up trees, babbling brooks, strong forceful surf crashing against the rocks, Icicles falling off limbs. My breathing hard on uphills. All these things and so much more to appreciate in nature. I may hike the same trail many times but see it differently each time. Different mushrooms may pop up one time or flowers that were not there the last time are now in bloom and fragrant. So many people go for a hike and never experience the wonder of nature. They keep their eyes down on the trail and never stop to just look out at the beauty all around them, for us all to see. Yes, just listening and really feeling nature is magnificent. A spiritual thing for me.
