I so enjoy your videos Erik. All natural wilderness sounds. No music, soundtracks, etc. Coffee, holy moment. The "thumb up" first sip. Beautiful landscapes & allowing us to enjoy the journeys in the wilderness with you. I hope you are well & your health issue is being resolved. I'm sure everyone misses seeing you out there on another adventure.

Hej!

Trevlig film! ..men varför "knarrar" ditt underlägg så mycket? Går det att sova gott?

I live in northern Maine, along the border with Canada...a climate very similar to your own. Truly enjoy your posts and now better understand your absence. If you can draw any comfort from this, know that I enjoy winter camping and also had the ablation for the same reason. Last weekend, friend and I hiked to an abandoned fire tower to spend the night in the unheated tower cabin. My hope and prayer is that by now, you've recovered. Best wishes to you.

Just returned from a winter overnighter. Spent the night in an unheated cabin on a mountain top in northern Maine but we were toasty. Climate is very similar to yours. Appreciate your comments. Always useful and timely. Hoping you return with posts of your adventures soon.

I desperately need this in my life. I recently went from skating on a hockey rink to a speed skating oval and it blew my mind. If I was out there in the peace of nature with this much open space… I don’t think I’d leave till the ice melted

have watched your vids for years Erik and enjoy the spectacular landscapes you give us. here in British Columbia it is heavy forest/mountainous wilderness with animals that want to eat you. Many precautions must be taken here making winter camping even more challenging. Cheers from BC and thanks again for doing what you do

I'm another big fan of the understated style of your videos. I have reason to think that the old stump you broke open with your hatchet to use for your fire in this video was "fatwood". Was it? If so, I am wondering what is the Swedish word for fatwood?
