That was an awesome interview. Great questions. What makes me like Andy more is that he’s a fan first. Ride is my number 3 band behind the Beatles and the Posies

The Beatles invented the Manchester drum beat in 1966 with Tomorrow Never Knows... Mind blown. Stone Roses for sure, that record turned the world around for me. The Cure live.. yep, seen them a fair few times live, but Stockholm 1992 and the Roskilde festival 1995 gig changed my life, they were that good. At Roskilde, right in front of the stage, everyone bursting with love for the band constantly getting thrown water at (with sand in it) from the stage crew trying to cool things down. Life changed.

the "Manchester sound" is basically a huge Jefferson airplane, Beatles but especially the Kinks mashup sound with mostly vocals by people who love looking at their own shoes... Oasis put a bit more rock into it..

Wow, Magnet TV. Those questions are superb. Favourite song? Favourite album? How did you manage to think about something so original and creative? 😁

Those Liam/Noel arguments have put 50 years on Andy Bell. Bonehead was 90% bald before they signed their first record deal. Guigsy couldn't handle it, Alan White, Tony McCarrol was terrified of Noel. The inspiral carpets were scared of noel. Most other bands were scared of liam and noel and i don't get why. There's a million lads like liam and noel in manchester. Not many manchester lads would be scared of liam and noel. They're just normal manchester lads to me i dont get the terror. I love em but I'd never fear them for a second. I'd love to be in an Oasis reunion line up. I'm as much of a twat as they are any day of the week

Interesting! I'm sure I watched an interview with him after him and gem had just joined oasis and he said what's the story influenced him greatly in his younger days yet he doesn't mention oasis once. I bet there's some falling out there hence no insight into his oasis days which is what I was watching this for. I want my 6.55 minutes back KZbin! Now!

Never liked him in Oasis . Too posh for me. If a reunion happened it has to be with Bonehead Guigsy Alan and then put Gem in there obviously with Noel and Liam

I don’t think he sounds posh at all, he’s just from Oxford. So what? He was right for Oasis I reckon. Wrote some great tunes for them and is a great musician. They needed that to move on.

I would prefer the original lineup with Alan, however Gem and Andy were probably the best replacements you could possibly get for Oasis, and I wouldn't be mad if they were part of a reunion also/instead.

If there was an Oasis reunion I would definitely hope Andy wasn't involved, mainly since Ride shit on Oasis from a great height - Andy was wasting his time with Oasis, but I guess it paid the mortgage...
