Leanne, I so admire how articulate you are...no joke, I wish I had a friend like you, because of your zest for life, interest in so many subjects, including your family...and Bert, your wisdom is very refreshing to hear...when I listen to you all, I imagine sitting with you on a porch from a cabin on a lake...enjoying cool drinks of ANY kind...Lol...thanks for inviting us over on this channel...hugs from Texas. 🤠

I am 30 years old with no kids and no relationship and the thought of "empty nesting" gets me all teary-eyed hahahahah. I can't imagine how emotional it makes Bert and Leanne

Burt gets a bad wrap somtimes as far as people picking at his flaws and teasing, but you pod showcases such a smart and caring thoughtful and wise person. This is the second time hes had me in tears and feeling encouraged ❤

As I watched this episode I couldn’t believe how many answers and advice you gave were exactly what how I would respond. My husband is 51 and I’m 53 …we’ve been happily married for over 29 years, have 2 grown kids in their mid twenties living their own lives now, and I have noticed our relationship changes every couple years to keep it fun. Traveling, watching tv, and being able to do whatever we want to do.❤ Your podcast is so awesome 👏 please keep doing these these Q&A’s😊 Bert is great and seeing him live makes us laugh every single time we see or watch him ☺️😂😂🤣

I’m a single mom with two teens w zero family here and no one can afford to visit . It’s hard not to feel envious of moms who have a partner and relatives. I’m SO fucking tired. We never do anything fun (that’s their dad’s thing - lake house vacays etc). I feel myself Crumbling from stress. I love you both I know you’ve all been in the trenches. Big hugs.

You could do small things to have fun at home like play board games or watching stuff on netflix together. Your kids appreciate the time you spend with them, not the expensive things.

Over the last couple of years, the guests LeeAnn has had on like Whitney Cummings, Christina P, Rosabud etc hearing their admiration of her, the acknowledgement of her part in Bert's success, the respect is fantastic.

That's not admirable. That's the extremely toxic partnership of being a codependent to a narcissist. It's a very common unhealthy dynamic where the woman gives, and sacrifices, spends her youth, her life pouring into the partnership until shes spent and drained just to be disposed of by the narcissist in the end. Narcissists take and give nothing back. She loves, cares and gives to someone who sees her as a disposable object. It's masochism. If the stories of his raging temper tantrums among friends are true then she is being treated this way more than anyone. They're teaching their kids to either selfishly exploit someone or be horribly exploited and abused. He's deplorable.

I would like to extend a challenge to Burt. ( Not to undermine LeAnn love y'all ) .... Here it is take all the beer cans/ liquid death cans and melt them down for a Statue of Bert. For one year. Maybe a desktop bust or a full statue who knows?

Im 8 minutes in and the question that was asked i have the same problem, but with the advice you and bert gave really helps, but i just dont know how i would make time with a 1 and a half year old and a 2nd child due in October? And advice on that, to help quiet the mind and make time for yourself?
