When my husband took me out for the first time, he mentioned liking to skeet shoot! And rifle shoot! I mentioned to him that I skeet shoot as well. Well the next date was at a range! Met her in a concert, thought she was a good girl after dating her for a few years, I get her pregnant, she doesn't want to marry because she doesn't want to change her last name to mine (it's a tradition and an offense if you don't where I'm from) and well, now with the kid she's thinking about leaving, everything falling apart, shit's not looking good. Every week there's a new fight over the same stuff and she's not the type to solve issues she's the type to resent everything and act like nothing is wrong a few days later only to be faking it and again another problem. I think she's a covert narcissist... God, this is painful.

This video was done about the time I lost my Wonderful Wife Helen. She and I only had each other and we called each other Babe. When I first laid eyes on her I was in Love. From that moment on, I never looked at another Woman. She was it. Together for 52 years, I lost her to an unexpected Cardiac Arrest. We were permanently connected. Even when I was a long distance away training , as I spent time in the Military. She was always in my thoughts. I Love her so very much and I miss her every second. I continue to exist with a shattered heart as I await my end. Take care of each other and hug each other tight everyday. Life can be fragile. All The Best.

I say this with all love and respect and not to press it on you at all, but please consider that Jesus Loves you and even above it all, there is a plan for your life with Him in it. Cool story. I knew the girl I met in class was to be my wife the minute I laid eyes on her. I felt it without a doubt. The hardest thing I had to do was wait 3 years until she was ready for it. 8 years difference, I was 29 at the wedding. I met my wife 5 months after discharge. I wasn’t a SEAL but I had just spent 3 years at the Amphibious Base in Coronado working with them and my head was in a bad place. No doubt, God put her in my life and it gave me a reason to pull my head out. We went for a walk and had a talk. She started checking things off on a checklist that I never knew I had. Almost 43 years together, still married after my family gave us 6 months. God knows what He’s doing!

I was in the exact same head space when I first met my loving wife. After having my heart “broken” a couple times prior, I wasn’t hesitant to start another serious relationship. We were friends for a couple years. Then, as soon as it was clear we both had feeling for another, we both dove in head first. That was around July of 2000 and I can’t imagine my life if she wasn’t in it as my wife. It certainly wasn’t always easy, quite the contrary in fact. The best in life never is. There were even times I wanted to throw in the towel, god forbid. Today, I’ve never been happier and more fulfilled in my life and I owe my joy to her. Don’t give up, “the one” is out there and the hardest part isn’t even finding them; it’s being able to confront your unfortunate qualities, learn from them and then change or lose them in order to be the best person human being you can be. There's nothing like a true love story. It makes the world go round. I was 18 and my heart was set on my 17 year old boyfriend. We eloped. We had a wonderful life together from 1971 until 2018 when his heart gave out here and went home to our Lord. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. May you hold tight to each other and Jesus. He will get you through any and every challenge.

Don’t ever stop making these videos. These are great! Shawn had the same story as me. Go to work doing Search and rescue. Be in the field for a few days, come home get drunk as hell and pray someone goes missing so I can go right back to work.

Guys this one hits home, very similar situation with me and my wife. Didnt meet her on a gun range but we grew up together in South Florida(Bradenton, Sarasota) and i had just got clean and my wife excepted me for who i was. To this day we are about the share our 9th anniversary together and ive stayed 100% clean and sober. When you find a good one, DONT LET GO. So happy for you guys and the similarities blow my mind. Keep it up guys👍

The first time I met my husband, it was an instant "he's the one" for me too. I don't know how that happens but it does sometimes I guess. We've been together 14 years now. :)
