Enjoyable podcast with the three of you. People need to understand different personalities. Cammy did a good job of sending questions Lizzie’s way, and she did more talking than usual. She is never going to speak as much as Cammy, and that is absolutely fine. And, it’s fine for Cammy to speak as much as he does, too. We are all different. I love Iona’s input, as well. And her laugh is the best!

You are doing something right because here I am, I don't like lamb, I actually can't eat much meat at all because I can't divest it. I'm highly sensitive to animals and how they feel. I'm a grain farmer's daughter from Canada. They did try animals a time or two but dad is not the type of person who should even attempt it so he expanded to fixing equipment, welding, seed cleaning, mom did pottery, was an EMT and a few other things. I'm now a city girl watching the Sheep Game and this program. It dosen't take much for me to not to be able to watch animal farming but I've been here a while. I'm probably one of the toughest demographics to keep and here I am commenting and found this now.

Hi there! I’m a longterm follower of Sandi Brook (Sheepishly Me) but I’m in Queensland Australia. I have the BEST BLOOD in my veins my father was a 2nd Gen while my gran/parents arrived from Scotland 1910. Enough to say my middle name is McPhie and after a horrid marriage break-up I changed my surname name (& all my kids) to DEMPSTER. I didn’t think the Ex would dream of tracing me back through thst far. I’m on the Dempster Family Tree. It’s nice that they’ve included me, I really didn’t expect that. My dad’s family arrived ?1860 in Victoria but over a good length of time ended up pioneering west Qld with both cattle and sheep. Enough for now I live to sit and listen to you chat. God Bless and all my Love, Ellen DEMPSTER from Qld, Au

Blueberry muffins tip - toss the fruit in a bit of flour before you add them to the batter. That way, they won't all sink to the bottom. Blueberries in every bite! Yum.

Hold on Cammy! I have two sheep, they are my pets as I rescued them along with two donkeys which we keep on our little three acre “farm” (we keep 11 chickens) one sheep is a wool sheep and one is a hair sheep. ‘Bonnie’, the hair ewe is NOT an ugly which you suggested hair sheep were. Quite the contrary. She has such a pretty face and is a sweetheart, she follows me around like a puppy and loves nothing more than a good head scratch. So please change your mind about hair sheep. You need to brush them regularly to keep their coats tidy, as you would any long haired cat or dog.

There is also Wiltshire sheep, which self shed. Their wool is lighter, too. But in the UK, I think they would struggle in the cold. You would have to winter inside.

Great chat! Part of the discussion on YT income there’s taxes, and your family lives off that so it sounds incredible (and it’s a good return) you live off it. So £40000 needs to be put in perspective so people understand. You both work hard.

@@FedByFarmersPodcast £10k to £20k on a wedding, seriously. And when did that become Law to throw that much money away? Mad, I got married in the mid 1970s, registry office (No, I wasn't pregnant), dress was in a sale (NOT a 'wedding dress'). This compulsion to spend mega bucks on a fairytale "big day" is just mad.
