Dr. Klaper speaks on lab grown meat and if it has the same risks as standard meat. Animal muscle is used to create the lab meat, but is it more humane? Are animals exploited still, without the factory farms and does this cause less pollution? In addition, it's important to consider that it's still a high protein diet and will this lab grown meat still cause issues with cholesterol, saturated fat, artery walls and kidneys.
Question: I’ve read that animals are not harmed in any way in the creation of lab grown meat. However, will this meat still have saturated fat and cholesterol, which could increase the risk of chronic diseases?
