Hey, girl. It's so refreshing to see someone my age who also suffers from chronic illnesses who also makes videos. I really look up to you!

Love this Q&A. I also love how honest and vulnerable you are. You can clearly see you emotion at times when talking about what you go through or how you're trying to deal with it/ get better. This is really been an encouragement and motivation for me and my own health issues as I continue to do what I can to better my health holistically.

Thank you for openness!!! Have been struggling to serve and feel robbed of purpose and hope given my minimal progress. This was encouraging. My deepest prayer is my pain will help someone and I have been stuck about this. I do think you put it well I need to have grace with myself, trust in God's timing, advocate for myself, and pray about God's will

Thank you for mentioning Lyme Literate doctors! So many people think it's a good idea to go to a PCP and/or an infectious disease doctor for treatment, but really they don't know all the details about Lyme disease along with the co infections that can come from ticks and other bugs. And even if they have some knowledge, they only know the small list of symptoms the CDC relays, and they certainly don't treat you long term as needed (not this B.S. 30 day antibiotic script). Lyme literate medical doctors are certified through the ILADS program, and have been trained to diagnose and treat with various resources.

Nice to see you. As a mostly house bound and often bed bound chronic illness sufferer , I get my hope from my faith in Jesus I love this scripture - Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. - Colossians 3:1 I remind myself these trials are temporary and an eternal heavenly body awaits. All that matters is I have Jesus, he saved me and like Paul I am working on being content in every situation. My limited energy is for my family and church when I am able. May God strengthen you as you continue to work towards health.

Berkeley does not filter out minerals. We have one and live in a heavy mineral hard water area. Some of the minerals are good for you but the mineral “scum” is still an issue! It tastes great and I like knowing that I’m not ingesting fluoride (have hashi).
@MandyMeehan5 жыл бұрын
For sure. It’s not the perfect water filter, but really great overall!

Was wondering if you tried Dr Terry Whalhs diet? There are three different levels. The most difficult promotes energy and improves brain fog. She recovered from MS. I am going to try this next. Also going to Mayo in April.

Hi Mandy! I wanted to see if I could ask you a question. With your chronic illness did you ever have the symptom of muscle weakness or muscle fatigue in the beginning? Like you lost some of your strength and it was harder to lift things and you could only do it for a short amount of time?
@lydiakirby46665 жыл бұрын
Sarah Trail, not Sarah but I certainly did. That was one of my most noticeable symptoms. 20 years later it is still frustratingly with me.

Hi Mandy--A video of yours came up on my auto-play, and it was like hitting pay dirt! It’s beautiful you’re addressing the “infectious” and “toxic" side of FM/CFS--but speak on rheumatology endocrine etc. I launched a channel primarily looking at the endocrine side of things. Medical studies etc. to put my money where my mouth is. (I have had Cushing’s and hypopituitarism--and could be the poster child for all things FM.) I’ve branched off into the nutritional side of things. (such as staving off diabetes.) I will binge watch your channel! And would like to invite you to visit mine. PS. I had essentially become bedridden...and after I finally got the help I needed, I was listening to Isaiah in the car...and Isaiah spoke to God about the tremendous grief the king was experiencing over his terminal illness, and God granted the king 15 more years. Not that I’m a king, and not that I’ve been granted 15 years...it’s just that it bears witness of God’s power to intervene in my life... Short intro Jane’s Journey Introduction. Fibromyalgia Symptoms and Endocrine Disorders. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmqVmGqcZchpppI Long intro--summary of medical studies Fibromyalgia? HPA-Axis? Please Watch! kzbin.info/www/bejne/m32kdnePgb-koMU

What do you do for your brain fog?
@MandyMeehan5 жыл бұрын
Treating my toxicity / viral issues have made a big difference, but acutely I use essential oils.

Mandy Meehan can you tel me what toxicity issues you had and how u treated? Also what eo you use?
@MandyMeehan5 жыл бұрын
Mold / chemical toxicity. Mold issues are really common in people with CFS. Getting out of a moldy environment is crucial. I would recommend working with a practitioner for the actual treatment. 💜

@@MandyMeehan When you did DNRS, did you also work with a ND at the same time to detox? I read that its better to not add supplements along with DNRS? Also, did you suffer from depersonalization as well along with the brain fog?
