Oh my goodness… I’m so happy you made this video. I literally teared up bc it’s exactly like my life. My passed grandmother, my mom, and my daughters have the creative minds and they are all different. Junk journaling actually saved my life and mindset. I have horrible social anxiety that happened after Covid. I got super depressed, since then I’ve gotten better with help, but still not quite there yet. My husband had open heart surgery 6 years ago that was supposed to last a lifetime, but we found out this year that was not the case. We are only in our 50’s. He had his next this past March. Long story!! I actually made my “real” first junk journal while he was recovering. It kept me close enough to him that I could hear if he needed help or just a hug. The junk journal was kind of my hug. I’m sure you know what I mean. I am now obsessed with it. I showed it to my mom that makes cards and now insane pictures. So much talent. She actually cried and said that my grandma is so proud of me from up above. Little did I know that she made them before this was a real thing. She has been giving me so many supplies that it’s hard to sort. I’m in fact trying today. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But again, you 3 ladies are amazing and crazy talented. Thank you! ♥️

I’m so sorry to hear that life hasn’t been the kindest to you and your husband. I’m so proud of you for working hard for your mental health! That takes so much strength! You and your husband are lucky to have each other. Your story hit home for me. I don’t like that you’ve gone through so much but it helps to know that I’m not alone. This world of art has saved my life and my relationships with my husband and kids and I’m glad that it’s had a huge positive impact on your life as well. It’s okay to not be okay and you need to give yourself permission to feel everything that you’re feeling and know that everything you do feel is valid. Thank you so much for sharing your story! It’s helped me and I wanted you to know that. I love that junk journalling was something special in your family and you just found that out and are able to continue to use the supplies that were kept! This was such a fun video! It is so nice to meet you 3 and I have to say that you 3 look so much alike! You’re all so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this. I too have major social anxiety and I also had to quit my 9-5 job due to spine issues. I’ve since had to go on disability and I was not doing very well mentally. I’m still struggling but about a year ago, I found the amazing world of junk journalling and it’s absolutely my happy place. When I think about being in my crafting space, I get that excited feeling in my stomach. It has strengthened my relationship with my husband and 2 boys (16-21) because it has brought me back into the light. My family is so supportive and I’m forever grateful for them and for this amazing world of crafting. MPP was my very first craft related purchase on Etsy and you all continue to inspire with your beautiful creations in your shop and on your KZbin channel. Thank you so much for all that you do. You have an amazing team and you all play such important roles in your business and I love how proud your kids are of you. The support is huge and I see that. I was the caregiver for my husband during the 3 years that he suffered with ALS, and during his naptimes, crafting was my escape and passion! Your beautiful kits were so easy to use to spark ideas for me. My husband passed in 2022, and I craft every day to help in my healing process. So nice to meet you all, this video was a surprise. Your Etsy shop is my go-to-place for prints, massive variety of themes and colours. I don't make journals, although I will get around to putting together the sewing one, I mainly use your prints for decorating my craft room boxes just so pretty to see. The mini books/folios (I have a real passion for miniatures) have been taking up a lot of my time and the end results are so sweet especially placed in the secret bookcase, I love to have time going through them, in fact because your designs are so pretty they deserve a pretty home. After a long struggle, domestic violence, I am finding me, realising it's ok to make my home a place I want to be, it's ok because I am no longer looking for approval I will never get. Your prints are helping me create a beautiful safe place that I love to come home to. I also made the mini faith books, Thank You I love them, so special. The Lord has definitely blessed you to bless others, how wonderful.
