My DAW is Logic X. my hardware is a bit of a list, the core of my studio is my macbook pro, Rhythm Wolf, Roland JS-30, a few guitars, Rhodes, Micro Korg. My fav producers, are Nigel Goodrich, Quest Love, Q Tip, 3 Stacks, FlyLo, Ish from Shabazz Palaces and a few others. I checked out your Beat challenge vid. Glad you challenged yourself to do something outside of your comfort zone. This is one of my favorite things to do. I add parts or gear or instruments to my studio that I don't know how to play. Thus I am constantly learning. My next thing I am wanting to get into it Modular gear.

I'm on that Maschine MK3 and the Komplete Kontrol A49 with Studio One 5 Pro as my go to DAW. That's all I need, but I wouldn't mind getting that Akai Pro MPC Live II. I heard that sampler is a beast.

Just got a 404sx. I want a MicroKorg, another 404, A Korg Minilouge, and after watching you I wanna try that maschine. I got an MPD 32 and MPK for midi stuff. Cool to hear that you came from other instruments into beats. Been playing guitar since I was 12 and beat making has helped my ears so much. Keep it up and best of wishes in California. Great video! EXECUTION had been my issue, I like that you emphasis so much to actually DOING it...SELF DISCIPLINE.. I havent got that fully. Also anyone can google Free daw's and download them or online daw's.Use the computer keyboard as a keyboard so yes , ANYONE can make music. So much is free!! Just by having a cheap computer. I actually have a great setup, I need to DO IT!

I want the Korg Arp Odyssey FS, Roland System 8, Sontronics Mercury and DBX 676. I am a vocalist and a producer plus I am olds kool so I want the Arp to recreate the sounds of my youth alongside my Sub37 and the System 8 to recreate the Juno sounds and use the new sounds. The Sontronics Mercury and the DBX 676 would be an upgrade on the STC-2 that I currently use has going into a Focusrite Scarlet

I just upgraded from Maschine Mk1 and a Novation 25 SL Mk2 to Maschine Mk3, Maschine Jam and a Komplete Kontrol M32 so I’m in heaven right now. Thinking about adding a SP404 and maybe an Artiphon Instrument 1 as I really liked what I saw in your videos with that thing!
