Esteemed sushi pandit Ji, i have a severe reservation on the point that Kashmiri language is not taught in academic circles, sir from school to phD it's there well established.please check on website if university of Kashmir the department of Kashmiri, you will see yourself please don't spread wrong information..i request everyone to check Kashmiri department in university of kashmir.

Haroon Rashid-ji, checked the University of Kashmir, Kashmiri Department Website, MA and PhD Syllabi for 2020. Everything is written in non-Kashmiri script (the Sharada script, main script of Kashmiri Language is nowhere used); although main headings are in English. Also, did not find any Kashmiri names in the faculty and you also mentioned school - undergraduate courses are not there and no school level courses are also run under University of Kashmir. So it is not easy, rather difficult, to accept the claim that Kashmiri Language is taught in academic circle in University of Kashmir. We will wait for some examples from you Haroon Rashid-ji.
