I think the Japanese back-in park because cars came to Japan (mostly) after WWII with the U.S. occupation. Military back-in park for fast getaway/fast reaction. Japanese saw the back-in parking by the military and just started doing it. It became the cultural norm, which is a very Japanese way of doing things.

Hey Ryosuke! I got a expression for your repertoire that I often use when whenever you make corny jokes. Try out the expression, OI VEY. Which can be spelt 'oy vey'. I grew up hearing this Yiddish word all the time. We'd often says that as a replacement for, 'aw geez' , 'ugh really?'or 'my goodness'. Basically a phrase expressing dismay or exasperation. Anyway I thought you'd like it since the first part sounds like a Japanese word anyway.
