I think the "muse" concept from The 4 Hour Work Week's super relevant to artists and bring it up in conversation to other artist's whenever it seems like they're interested in nerding-out in business discussions. Aside from the literal concept of the muse being something that's referenced in the arts, creating a categories of products that people in a given arts niche are going to be into is definitely a translatable idea.

The part about dating is so geeky in my opinion. Please people don't overthink things. Grab a coffee with your date, go to the park or a museum and you'll be fine. It's not necessary to go to the same restaurant four nights before your first date to exclude uncertainty, this seems quite over the top. Be happy and confident with yourself, make yourself your own mental point of origin and as Tim says practice, practice, practice...

I'm fascinated by Tims take on shame. Sure it can be used as a good motivator but couldn't we say the same thing about something like violence? It's not always about the result, it's about getting the result while also maintaining a sustainable and healthy approach imho and referencing a book like don't shoot the dog seems almost counterintuitive to using shame as a behavioral changer.
