青森ねぶた祭2023【総集編】解説字幕付き/ Aomori Nebuta (Explanation included in English)

🔲青森ねぶた祭は東北三大祭りの１つ。毎年、延べ200万人以上の観光客が訪れます。
今年の青森ねぶた祭は4年ぶりに制限なしで開催され、大いに盛り上がりました。
2023年はハネト(踊り手)の声出しも飲食もOKになりました。
「ねぶた」とは東北地方の風習である「眠り流し」からきているといわれています。
「眠り流し」は夏の農作業の妨げとなる眠気を追い払う行事です。
灯籠や笹竹などを海や川に流すというもの。「ねむたい→ねぶたい→ねぶた」に変化したと考えられています。
今年は23台の大型ねぶたが出陣しました。大型ねぶたは台車（高さ約２ｍ）も含めて、幅９ｍ・奥行き７ｍ・高さ５ｍの制限があります。重さは台車も含めて４トンもあります。
ねぶたの題材は日本や中国の伝説や歴史上の人物、歌舞伎、神仏など……。
祭りを盛り上げる太鼓は最後まで揃って同じ調子で叩き続けなければなりません。体力と熟練が必要です。ねぶた囃子は太鼓のほかに笛と手振り鉦（ジャガラギ）が揃って1つです。ねじり鉢巻に揃いの半纏です。手振り鉦（ジャガラギ）はシャン、シャンと粋な囃子で練り歩く。笛と共に女性や子供たちが多い。

🔲This festival is one of the three major festivals in Tohoku and attracts more than 2 million visitors.
This year's Aomori Nebuta Festival was held without restrictions for the first time in four years. In 2023, haneto (dancers) are now allowed to speak, eat and drink.
The word "Nebuta" comes from the Tohoku region's custom of "Nemuri-nagashi". It is an event to drive away the sleepiness that hinders farm work in the summer. Lanterns and bamboo branches were floated to the sea or rivers. "Nebuta" changed from "sleepy".
This year, 23 large Nebuta floats went out to the festival. Nebuta is limited to a width of 9m, depth of 7m, and height of 5m, including the cart. It weighs four tons, including the cart. Nebuta's subjects include Japan, legends, historical figures, and Kabuki.
The taiko drummers must all keep beating in the same tone until the end of the festival.
The Nebuta musical accompaniment consists of a flute and jagaragi (hand-waving gong).
Jagaragi players parade around with a chic sound. Many of the players are children and women.
