I went to the festival in 2017 and wow your video is soooo high quality that I closed my eyes for a second and I thought I was at the festival all over again!! Thanks for the memories!
Hi friends, could I use some parts in your clip for our educational purpose on global cultural discovery for kids? I and a great Japanese teacher want to introduce Japanese culture to our kids. Thank you so much in advance, thank for sharing such a great clip about Japan's culture.

I went to Nebuta many years ago and found it impossible to get any good shots with such poor lighting. You guys did a really nice job with this one!

Thanks! The idea is to get the fastest lens possible (F1.4) and a good camera. However the camera I had at that time was not really great in Low Light (can't go above ISO800), I will try to give it another go with the new camera I have now (Max ISO1600).

This is probably the best footage of the aomori nebuta that ive ever seen. the colors are so vibrant and you got a clear view of the floats. excellent work!

the floats look a lot like these chinese lantern statues ive seen here in california. they do this "moonlight forest" here in arcadia around december to january that has floats like this all throughout the park lit up like that. its really cool!
