Hello Amy, do you act shortening to the syrup? Because your texture syrup look like have shortening mixture otherwise no matter how we stirred the texture only becomes liquid impossible become a paste

I suggest boil it again for approximately 3 mins and stir it again after it off the heat. I think its not becoming a paste it's because it might have too much water

Hello Amy, may I know its this moon biscuit no need steam? I quite confused with the recipe the dough and the mung bean using the same flour... You mentioned sweet rice flour? Just want to comfirm about the flour you have used. Are you using Wheat starch for the Mung bean paste and the biscuits dough is Glutinous rice flour? Thanks you 🙏😃

Both the filling and the dough need sweet rice flour. No need to steam or cook it because the flour already cooked.

130g of water I don't think measures wrong. The texture color look white thick liquid, but I am wondering your texture should act shortening. It's OK thanks you 🙏

I did not use any shortening and I’ve listed all ingredients I used. I suggest try testing your syrup with your finger to see if you feel sugar. If you do then you should be able to use it.

Hello Amy, I have followed your recipe the sugar I am boil never change to brown end up it becomes white sugar sand again... I am so confused with your this recipe 🙄

This recipe doesn't necessarily need the sugar to be yellow/brown. After boil, turn off the heat and stir it until it becomes sugar sand again but liquidity.
